Spancraft 1tier Glass Peacock Glass Shelf, Brushed Steel, 8 x 30

Bought the 6x27 shelf to hold a few liquor bottles and get them off the counter. Nice, thick glass, thicker than others I have ordered from Amazon. The brackets are pretty basic, but functional. You could use any of the type that pinch the edge of the glass. The screws and anchors that came in the box wouldn't have worked. Much too large. The bracket's screw holes are sized for a #6 screw, and they're pretty close together, so using something like a moly bolt or pop-toggle anchor might not work. I put some backer behind the sheetrock so as not to rely on wall anchors. Properly anchored, this shelf appears more than capable of holding a great deal of weight.

My son put it up very easily with just a power drill. It's straight on the brackets, held tightly, and surprisingly sturdy.I had intended to put just a few light things on the shelf but I see it can hold much more weight, probably as much as the write-up would advertise. They offer so many sizes - I got 6x36 so I don't know about the other sizes. Do they use the same brackets, the same glass, etc. It could be different, I didn't read through all the specifications.I thought it was going to be clear glass but it does have a light green-ish tint. It turned out well for me because the glass bookcase the shelf sits above has the same tint.

Easy to install. Nice slick profile for my bedroom wall. I bought it to place my 32-inch TV on. It's more than sturdy enough to hold it.

Great looking shelves but the mounting brackets have soft metal screws that easily strip. I installed 3 of 4 with no problem. The fourth one was stripping as I was trying to fasten the glass to it. What should have taken 60 seconds took 20 minutes because the screw head was stripped.

Can't review the brackets because I just needed a piece of glass. This was a great price, carefully packaged, and the glass is surprisingly thick and high quality.

Shelf glass came without brackets, but seller was quick to respond. Received brackets quickly.A good level and better anchors required, as installation is expectedly fiddley, but results are excellent. Will add pic asap.

The hollow wall anchors that are provided do not have an outer flange so they end up disappearing into the drywall, never to be seen (or used) again. Thankfully, I keep on hand much more appropriate hollow wall anchors so I was able to save myself returning the shelf.

This looks awesome in my closet displaying my nicest handbags. It’s way sturdier than it looks. Highly recommend!

Looks nice in pic but our order was cancelled after it shipped, not sure if it got broken?? Amazon refunded my money and I will probably just pick one up at the hardware store instead.
