Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty (1.6 oz) Precious Metals - Good as Gold - Soft Texture, Never Dries Out

After reading the negative reviews about this product, I was skeptical about ordering. I'm glad intuition took over and I ordered it. It arrived this afternoon (2 days early) and my grandson immediately opened it. It was a little difficult getting the tin opened, but the use of a butter knife solved the problem. When you look at what's inside the tin, you think "Oh no, the bad reviews were right" because it looks like the putty exploded inside the tin. But all you have to do is peel it out. Simple and easy. My grandson has played with it all day and it is now 10:44 pm, and his hands are still in it. It is truly a 'no muss, no fuss' kids toy. He's delighted, I'm delighted and, I will be ordering more. Two thumbs up, Crazy Aaron's!

I love Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty! Fun and stress relieving. This has been one of my favorite shades/colors. The gold looks great and still blends/breaks like other putties. I love it! We have a lot of putty around our office, and some fades/discolors after a great deal of use. This has remained the same since day 1 - it's great!If you don't read closely, THIS IS NOT THE REGULAR PUTTY SIZE. This is slightly smaller. I was distracted by the gold and didn't check, myself!

Fun to play with and cool to look at. I'm not sure it's worth $15, though.

This putty is great. I found the reviews disappointing in that people opened the can to see the putty looking the same as I’d imagine all of us do and didn’t attempt to knead the putty together. Because that’s all it took. Pinch some out and use the pinch you’ve removed from the tin to pull (adhere) the rest of it out of the tin. And then voila you have a handful of gold sparkly putty.

Maybe I got a bad batch, I don’t know. This was my first time buying putty but I know that looking the the photo from the amazon picture, this is not what it was supposed to be. When I opened it, it was HARD and DRY! Like it was dried to the lid, to the rim, and even crusted on the outside of the tin. In the pictures you can see some of it on my finger but that is because I DUG my finger into it to tear some off (you can see the hard string that tore off with it like a piece if drying gum). It was disgusting and a waste of my time. Returning this to get my money back. Save yourself the time! Plus the tin was dented and had a bunch of indentions - maybe it was used and a return which is utterly and terrifyingly disgusting and makes me sick to my stomach. Luckily I had enough sense to thoroughly wash my hands after touching this.

We bought this product for our 12 year old son. It is a go to fidget toy for my son. It uses it for the purpose of stress relieve and occupying his hands. The color remains even through use. The gold color is nice. The tin is nice and we still store it in the original tin.I would recommend this product to friends.

Product arrived as expected and the gold color is beautiful. However this particular putty (more so than other colors we have) seems to easily melt onto surfaces like rugs, textiles, and clothing. Within a week, it had melted onto an oriental rug, a comforter, clothing and cannot be fully removed. Potential buyers with little kids, beware!

My wife heard about this stuff from a young lady she saw using it at Olive Garden. My wife has had hand surgeries that leave her hands stiff and this putty helps her to stretch the muscles without too much stress. She loves it, I love it. Only problem... Don't wear a rubber sports wedding band while using it... It adheres to rubber jewelry and is hard to get off. Other than that, happy wife happy life!

My son and I love it. He was stuck on getting some after seeing it in an ASMR video series that we watch. He has Thera-putty as well but this was the perfect texture and squishability for his hands.

Product came with the lid not sealed properly. Was spilling out the sides. They just said return it.
