Like most mobile DJs my speaker stands take a beating. I am pretty picky about the appearance of my equipment. I end up replacing stands about every 3 years. While looking at options I found the JBL stands. They are a bit more pricey than some of the choices, but I ordered them basically because all of my speakers are JBL. I didn’t pay close attention to the construction, or the bag when I ordered. Upon receiving the stands, I was very impressed with my purchase. First thing is the storage/carrying bag. I always purchase the JBL line of speaker covers and bags, and this bag is of the same quality of the $80+ bags for the speakers. It is divided so the stands won’t bang each other, and has Velcro to hold them in place. GREAT BAG, and probably worth $50 alone. Then I inspected the stand. Just the finish is beautiful. They have quality coating, nice feet, removable orange rings on bottom for safety, the pole is removable, and each end has a different diameter so they are a perfect fit for most all speakers. The next thing is, they can extend taller than most other stands, reaching 81” to get the sound up over the crowd. Saving the best for last here. The clamping/friction mechanisms for height, and leg width are INCREDIBLE. Not like the typical stand with slotted pinch clamp that always breaks if tightened a bit too much. “We all have done it”. They have a direct pressure friction lock that appears to be as durable as they come. The knobs are ez grip and function perfectly. As you can tell I am impressed with this product. I have owned stands from most all name brand suppliers (Rockville, Proline, Gator, Onstage etc.), and these are the best standard stands I have seen in this price range. I'm buying more JBL things from now on. I got the worst pyle speakers stands with a PA system and was looking for a suitable replacement that would make my life easier, and these were it! No dumb screw mechanisms, and built very well, crazy lightweight, and such a beautiful functionable carrying case too. You need these. They fit my PA speakers beautifully as well. If you own the JBL Party box 2 320 speaker this is literally a MUST have. It is huge but that's exactly what you want. The quality of this stand is outstanding!!!!! It's so easy to set up. It is a bit heavy but that's what you want when you have a expensive speaker that you do not want falling over ever!! And trust me if you put your speaker on this it's not going to collapse or tip over ever even when you have it at a party and people bump into it !! It didn't move an inch. This enhanced our sound quality tremendously!!! Our family loves it and now is used at every party pur extended family now has. Instead of the sound being on the ground it's about 6 foot tall and lets the sound travel!!!!! It keeps the speaker safe. I honestly wouldn't want the speaker without this. That's just my opinion but that how much of a difference it actually makes. Thank-you JBL!!!

Great stands. On Christmas Day i set up my Bose S1 Pro + outside on the stands. It was breezy that day like 15-25mph and wasn’t even close to budging in the wind. These are very sturdy and adjustments are quick and feel solid. Once collapsed they are quite compact. Worth the money.
