These are very handy little carabiner clips. I initially purchased a set of two Size #1 S-Biners as part of several different items I wanted to try out along with several other products in my search for the most suitable combination of rings and clips to organize my keys, and I've since added a selection of these S-Biners for various uses. What I've learned is that Nite Ize produces these S-Biners in various sizes and materials and finishes, each suitable for certain purposes. They're all well made, and in my opinion they are all a good value. I particularly like the locking models that are also available, both this small MicroLock size, and the larger SlideLock(see the models at the bottom of the listing below). This locking style S-Biner is particularly useful since it reduces the chance that something attached using this clip will become accidentally released, which is something I've had happen when using the non-locking style slip. This particular locking S-Biner is only available in the very small size, so for someone who wants the locking feature then the other locking style should also be considered since it's available in two larger sizes. After going through a mini research project of my own in order to both determine the relevant dimensions of the various sizes, as well as find the best listings for them on Amazon, here is a guide to simplify this process for others. Appears to be strong. Not difficult to use. Should be deterrent for bad actors looking for low hanging fruit. Works with zipper devices on standard carry on suitcases and backpacks. Could have multiple uses for security. Small and not clunky. Appears to be overpriced but we plan to keep the item. Taking 1 star off for price.

These carabineers are so tiny and exactly what I needed for my new headphones case. I love that they have a lock, so it doesn't just open randomly.

I use this product as a way to attach keys that I normally use together, but sometimes need to separate, such as my house and car keys. A normal keychain is a hassle to separate if you’re in a hurry. A normal carabiner has a tendency to pop open in my pocket, so that keys become detached when I don’t want them to. The twist lock on this device is stiff enough to stay in place once it is set, even when keys are in a pocket, handbag, anything else that jostles them or puts pressure on the flip latches. It is also small, which is a good thing (unless you’re a fan of having keys falling out of your pocket or like to use your keychain as a dumbbell). The lock is also not too hard to twist to disengage or relock. Most adults should be able to manage it without any difficulty. That being said, it’s not easy to pop out of or into the locked position, so a youngish child cannot open this (my daughter couldn’t get these open before age 11 or so), but that’s likely a plus for most people. However, any adults with significantly less than normal hand strength or with hand mobility difficulties, like arthritis, would probably find this too hard to manipulate and might need to use something different. Overall, I love these things. They’re worth the price and last forever (I’ve had some for years).

I know this company has a specific S-carabiner for pets; but it looks more medium-to-big dog sized from the pictures I have seen, and I didn't want my cat's tags to hang too low, so I got this mini one to repurpose for her collar! And it's lovely to know I have a backup one (as I bought a 2-pack) in case this one breaks or I get a second pet. I'm the type that likes to change my pets' collars for fun, but them holiday ones, and whatnot. But my hands are a little shaky and I suffer from a general muscle weakness due my chronic illness/es, so I have just quietly hoarded collars and tried to find something to help me open up key-rings for my ease of switching out collars. This carabiner is even better than some kind of tweezer-like key-ring-undoing tool, at least for me. I found the little switch hard to turn at first; but once I did it the first time, every time afterwards was easy to lock in and unlock. I am very excited for the decrease in hand-pain moving forward! And I am even more excited to finally get to trade my cat's collar around depending on mood and season from now on, finally! Not to mention, how much easier it will be to replace her registration/vaccination tags on her collar when the time comes for such licenses to be renewed. Will update if problems arise but I doubt they will. These carabiners, in the pet/dog version of this product, are HIGHLY rated by pet-owners for a reason as carabiners without a lock like this tend to break easily with animals. And these carabiners have been reported to work amazingly on even VERY active dogs. And since my cat is an indoor cat with occasional adventures via backpack/leash, my bet is her's will last longer than most. Yay! OTHER INFO IN IMAGE, IN CASE NEEDED: My cat: is a Siamese mix of 7 lbs, the vet says she is the ideal weight for her small size. Also featured: Is the Pettsie red floral breakaway cat collar for adult cats, and the Barkaby size small Ocean Blue reflective harness. The bell was from an ancient Dollar Tree cat collar, and the cylinder-like charm is half of the Pettsie ID tube (lost other half); most of the licenses are registration/vaccination related, but her blue ID dog-bone collar is from the standard PetCo/PetSmart engraving tag machines in all/almost all of each's stores. UPDATE WILL BE HERE: Should I ever see need to write one! If none is here, assume everything is still going swimmingly :)

It’s small and compact and does a decent job of locking it. Although the build quality seems only OK and with enough force it may break or bend.

It’s a bit on the pricey side for such an item, but there’s no denying the practicality, quality, durability and versatility of these micro S-biners by NiteIze. These are a more affordable and practical solution compared to magnetic attachment options. Great for clipping all sorts of things together like keys, zipper pulls, lanyards, etc. I don’t find the locking mechanism super necessary for my needs, but this feature does offer extra security when needed. It’s just a genuinely good product.

These are so secure and even have a lock to prevent them coming open. Nice and small for what I wanted.
