Calvin Klein Women's Chevron Quilted Packable Down Jacket (Standard and Plus)

This coat is beautiful, fits well, and is as warm as my old heavy coat. The fabric is shiny and soft. The coat has no hood - I don't like hoods. I prefer a two-way zipper and this coat doesn't have one, but I knew that when I ordered it. I wasn't being careful once and the zipper split from the bottom - that's on me, I knew this type of zipper tends to do that. The coat lays pretty well when sitting despite not having the two way zipper. The collar is down filled and doesn't lay down when the coat is partially unzipped. No stars off for that, it's soft and the corners poking my face don't bother me. Pet hair and lint don't stick to this shiny fabric. The light blue color is really pretty. I love this coat.Update: the zipper gets stuck a lot. I’ve started being super careful when zipping up because I still love this coat.

Got the coat today and was worried based on negative reviews I read after I ordered. The coat is the perfect weight for a midatlantic winter, I think. It is very lightweight but feels like it will be warm.The color is a great dark navy and I definitely do not find it shiny, or too shiny. It has a slight sheen, though.As for the fit, I am 5'5" 145 lbs, and medium fits perfectly. I have an equal top and bottom proportioned shape with a defined but not tiny waist, and the jacket zippers easily with a sweater on underneath. It is gently form fitting.... not boxy in my opinion, and it seems there is good room for arm and shoulder movement, but it is not too big nor does it give impression of a "puffy" silhouette...it simply looks stylish with the quilted chevron pattern. I also do like the silver tone zipper.And the pockets are simple but good. Some other reviewers complained about the inside lining pockets not being sewn at the bottom..this is also the case with the one I received, but I do not think these are pockets at all..just a sewn in fabric layer on the back side of the external pockets.I could see the coat not being properly proportioned for every body shape..such as relatively smaller or larger upper body in proportion to lower body. But for an upper and lower proportioned body shape, I believe it would be very good.

I ordered this down coat a few days before we were expected to leave for a trip to japan. With Amazon Prime, it showed up on time. I wanted something light weight, warm, packable and flattering. This coat did the job. I ordered my normal size small and the fit was perfect, even with a heavy sweater underneath. Since I am only 5'3" tall the coat hit a little above my knees. I am glad it did since the Japan mornings got down to 35 degrees. With a sweater underneath, this coat kept my entire body and legs comfortably warm. Down coats are not typically flattering but because the down channels run diagonally the appearance is more slimming. My only small complaint was that the two side pockets don't have a zipper so I had to be mindful not to put anything in my pockets that I didn't want to slip out. I also wish it had an interior cell phone pocket. Despite these small annoyances, this Jacket still deserves 5 stars. It met all my expectations.

This is my new favorite coat for late fall/early winter.I ordered this coat to replace my packable down jacket that got chewed up in the washing machine. There are so many things I like about this jacket.1. The length is nice. Covers the tush. The arm length is great also.2. The Chevron pattern is nice.3. This jacket is pretty warm. I tend to run cold.....all the time. This jacket kept me warm in 20° weather with wind chill with myunder armour swacket underneath. (I use public transportation to get around the city, so I need something to keep me warm)4. No problems with the zipper5. The packable-ness. Late fall/early winter can have freezing cold mornings and warmer afternoons/evenings. I love I can toss the jacket in my backpack later in the dayWHAT COULD BE IMPROVED1. Zippers on the pockets would be nice.2. An addition of a hood would make this jacket perfect.Overall, this is a fabulous coat. Enough room to wear a layer or two underneath without looking boxy or bulky.If you are in the fence about this jacket and the lack of a hood is not a deal breaker, if say buy it!!!!! I'm a coat junkie. I have a closet full of coats for the various nuisance in the weather. This jacket has served me well for multiple weather scenarios.Bottom line:. Highly recommend. (Oh...I did get this jacket when it went on sale....so extra ++)

Very happy with this coat - it's very lightweight while being very warm. Wore it in 20-30 degree temps (Fahrenheit) and I was very comfortable. It has an attached pouch that the coat fits into which makes it easy to carry when inside. I'm tall and found the sleeve length to be good as well as the longer length on the body. Would definitely purchase again.

I was looking for a thin, light winter coat that i didn't have to take off to feel comfortable driving. I've always found the puffer coats to be plain ugly but thought it might be worth it for my long commute. The coat is form fitting, which is probably part of insulating. Go one size up from recommended size. Deal breaker was not being able to unzip/lossen from bottom which i felt, without the double zipper, would make it uncomfortable when driving and require readjusting the jacket to avoid pulling, even with a bigger size. At 5'3", jacket hits almost at the back of the knees. Did love the rose gold color and especially how thin and light it was but returning.

We are So. Cal natives and not used to the cold weather in Oregon around Thanksgiving. As we planned our trip I realized I needed a packable jacket. I tried several from Amazon which I returned. This Calvin Klein was perfect. Beautiful, packed easily and it is warm! We were in sustained low 20 degree temps and I was cozy with a few light layers under my coat. I love that the length was below my bottom for warmth sitting outside. I highly recommend the fabulous jacket. The chevron are very attractive and flattering. (So I was told 😀).

I bought this coat for a trip in November to a cold climate. It is light & I am hoping it proves it is warm enough for the winter.

I really like this coat. It is lightweight and covers my backside. It is warm enough for running errands on cold days. I wouldn’t recommed for cold blustery winter days. I love the colour.

I love this coat. It is lightweight, but very warm. I like that it is not too bulky. It is great when driving as it isn't heavy and restrictive. It looks great too. I've had lots of compliments.
