O2TOTES Backpack Fit for Inogen One G5 & Rove 6, Zippered Bottom

I purchased this backpack because it is advertised as specifically for the Inogen G5 or Rove 6 (essentially the same devices with minor updates on the Rove 6. The seller's listing specifically states several times that ONLY the G5 and Rove 6 will fit and not to try to fit other models. Upon examining the back pack I must agree that it is cut, shaped and stitched to fit the above devices and hold them safely.The Positives: The device installs from the bottom of the back pack (not the top) via a zippered flap. This makes changing the battery during use quite easy without disturbing your cannula hose setup. Importantly, there is a removable foam pad attached to the flap. It provides padding when the small battery and is removed when the larger battery is used (clever idea)The Straps: Many reviews mention that there are too many straps or the straps are too long. I count only three/four straps. There are the left and right shoulder straps and then a two-part waist strap. Personally, I couldn't find any use in using the waist straps and if not used they do flop around when putting on the back pack. The two shoulder straps do have what appears to be a great deal of unnecessary length past the adjuster. I'm a bit over six foot so I do let the straps out a good bit, still there is nearly ten inches past the adjuster that is not used. This excess length does flop around while trying to put on the back pack. I solved the problem by taping the excess flat against the rest of the shoulder strap once I finalized my most comfortable back pack positioning.There are several pockets build into the back pack. One is for a water bottle while a zippered pocket on the opposite side is a good place for small items. On the back side is a zippered opening designed for storage of the cannula.Overall quality of the backpack is good. No loose threads or badly fitting joints. The backpack is relatively light, but the fabric is heavy enough that it will last a long time.size? There is no need for the back pack to be any larger than necessary to hold the O2 Concentrator. The two side pockets are a plus without adding excess size. The back straps are adjustable enough to accommodate both a larger person or someone smaller.I've looked for negatives or things I wish they would change, but after several weeks the back pack seems incredibly well thought out and well constructed.Overall, I am very impressed and recommend it to anyone looking to spread the weight of the concentrator around a bit.

really comfortable for carrying my Inogen G5 when doing any activity that needs hands free but is too bulky and awkward for full time use. The clip around the waist keeps it firmly in place when you bend over. Excellent for yard work, cleaning house, walking etc. The straps are very comfortable. I wear it for hours. I also like the mesh pouch on the side. It has a pull string closure to keep your cell phone secure and big enough for a water bottle or extra battery and the little cubby is great for my Air Pod case. I would use the back pack all the time except all the comfort (and straps) make it unstable. The straps get in the way when you are settin it down so you have to give special attention to move them, then it falls over anyway. I think the main thing that makes the unit unstable is you have to insert the G5 from the bottom and there is a 3 to 4-inch wedge/spacer at the bottom so it fits several units. That makes it a little sloppy on my G5 and that spacer not only makes it top heavy and is not a solid foundation. You make have better luck with stability on something that does not require the spacer. The back pack is excellent for hands free tasks and completely deserves a 5-star rating. I highly recommend it for hands free.

I love my new O2TOTES backpack for my Inogen oxygen concentrator. I really took the time to look at the reviews to see how people liked/didn’t like them. I finally settled on this one and I haven’t looked back. This is the perfect size, has holders for the oxygen hose, has enough pockets for EVERYTHING I need (I.e. my inhaler, tissues, Chapstick, ID and insurance card). There’s even a place for a water bottle that can be used as an extra pocket (I use it for my cell phone and reading glasses so that I can get to them easier). There is also a smaller pocket facing the back – a hidden pocket – just don’t put anything that can melt in there! But this really has made my life easier!The quality of the craftsmanship can’t be beat - they make it HERE, in the U.S.A. (which isn’t very common these days) so it doesn’t take long to get to its destination (IF you’re in the U.S.!). The first time I used this backpack, I noticed how much lighter it is compared to many other backpacks. A lot of people don’t even realize I’m on oxygen because the backpack looks so cute! And the back is padded so that you don’t have to worry about your POC digging into your spine - the arm straps are also padded so that your arms don’t wear out as easily.Between the quality, the craftsmanship, the storage capabilities, comfort, AND how light it is, this backpack has GREAT VALUE for the money!!Thank you O2TOTES!!!

The quality seems to be fairly good. The size is where you want to be careful if you are very large like I am 6 foot two 245 pounds. It barely fits. The charging port is easily accessible. The pockets are nice, but not too big. All in all the appearance is fine.

I don't usually go back and write reviews, but this product is so great I felt I needed to let people know. I am on oxygen 24/7 and use the Inogen G5 for my portable. This backpack has everything you could want in a backpack; See through top panel so you can turn on, change + or - , see alerts and battery level, all without opening the top. It has a nice place to keep the tube straight on the shoulder strap. Netting in all the right places. A pocket that I can fit money, credit cards, D.L., brush, Kleenex, etc so I don't need an additional purse. Very comfortable to wear as a backpack and also just to put one strap over my shoulder and go. Somehow it makes the machine feel lighter to me. I wish I would have seen this backpack earlier. They thought of everything and I love it! Thanks!!!

This product is well made and fit the Inogen perfectly. Use of this backpack makes walking much easier without the weight of the machine on the neck. Highly recommend.

I bought this backpack to use with my rented Rove 6. It appeared to be a way you free up my hands from carrying the unit.In theory, it worked. In practice, it did what it was supposed to do. Issues I have with this backpack are 1) its difficult to put on and take off, 2) once on, the controls are inaccessible as are the various pockets. I ultimately will save this a d maybe sell on eBay to someone more agile than myself ( can't return used product). Not my favorite purchase.
