Can a replacement mounting bracket be ordered?

I'd actually like to attach it flat to a wall. Is this possible? Is the mounting hardware on the back of the mirror removable?

The bracket on the back of the mirror is attached with three screws so it appears to be detachable. You could then attach it relatively flat with two sided tape or perhaps by drilling a hole in the back and hanging it on a screw or nail.

How rigid is the ball mount, can it withstand the movement/vibration of being mounted to the back of a garage door?

The ball mount is pretty rigid. However, its intended use is to be stationary. I would imagine it would hold up well. Of course, it would be dependent upon the frequency of use/movement of the garage door.

is this mirror fire safe to mount outside on a fence that sun will be shining into?

This mirror is intended for outside installation as well, it's been 2 years and it's still shining for us we don't have any problem
