Amazon Basics Aluminum Portable Foldable Height Adjustable Support Stand for Laptops up to 13", Silver

I bought this for my new 2021 MacBook Pro 14inch. I had seen something similar recommended on a YouTube video, and when I saw Amazon Basics produce one, I thought I'd give it a go as I already have their phone stand and think it is a simple but fab bit of kit.This laptop stand is perfect for the size and weight of my laptop. It folds down very compact, so travelling with is would be a breeze.What this stand does: raises the angle of the keyboard, making it more comfortable to type on for long periods, and as it tilts the laptop the screen sits out 2 inches higher (not much, but it depends on what your needs are). It also creates space under the laptop to allow for ventilation.What this stand doesn't do: It does not raise the height of the laptop screen significantly, so if this is something you were looking for, a differently stand is probably a better bet for you.Im really happy with the quality. The stand doesn't move around when in use, and for the money I think it is fab!

Very stable in use , zero wobble when typing or using trackpad. Fixed height but perfect angle for me does not slip and grips the MacBook well. Hard to fault given the cost.

Despite it only claiming to be suitable for slightly smaller laptops, it works well and is stable for my 15” MacBook Air. Substantial (solid aluminium with silicone supports), an elegant solution, inexpensive, and well made (apart from a slight blemish on the surface of the back), and the three silicone supports for the laptop don’t stick up and get in the way of typing.

I absolutely love it. Recently having neck and back pain and having to work from home, I realised that my posture was not supported so I decided to fix things. This laptop stand was perfect for me, lightweight, small in that it does not take up much space and I have very limited space working from home. It’s the perfect height for me, I am not tall and all the other alternatives were huge and complex. It is not fiddly very simple and effective. Honestly, one of the best buys I have done.

Very robust and good device for money. Using it on a daily Basis and my sitting comfort has improved significantly.

The rubbers attached have peeled off. Bought the item in November 2024.

For the price this has been a great addition to the home working setup. Ideally holds the laptop in a better position to view the screen, and the keyboard is not too elevated either so means you can type without it feeling uncomfortable.Also folds neatly so can be stored away at the end of the day to keep your home desk nice and tidy. Excellent value for money and does exactly what it says on the tin.

I was looking for a laptop riser which was lightweight, fits into a backpack and costs no more than £10. Before settling for this one I tried a couple of others in the same price range which had good reviews and looked like they would do the job. It turned out they were both subpar and were either flimsy or structurally impractical. This one neither of those things. It is sturdy, simple design and lightweight. The only reason I am giving it 4 starts is because it would be good if it rose a laptop a little higher.
