Is this cat tree sturdy?

It absolutely is... if you follow the directions and use the screws they provide to attach the tall post to the second level down I have two 15plus pound cats, as well as a few at 10 pounds or more (2 of which are Bengals) and this tree has had no issues for strength or sturdiness. It was a great purchase

Is this made with real household carpet you know the old school household carpet or is it the what they call "plush" that is not household carpet????

Real carpet. I bought a second one already. I am planning to buy a third soon. I have 14 cats A couple of them weigh 15-20 pounds. You will be pleased with this cat tree.

Is there a way to know what color i will get?

the one we received is a mix of all three colors. A very neutral look. We have browns, blues and light wine color in our living room and the condo looks good with everything.
