It's small, it's plastic but robust enough to last a very long time if you use it with care and always put it in a small bubble bag when storing it in your camera bag. The item itself is easy to set up, you can get a step-by-step online demo on youtube if you're not sure. I bought mine for my GH5 cameras. Here's what I find impressive.*Single-shot - works perfectly.*Timer (3 shots) - works perfectly.*Continuous shoot (don't forget to set your camera to continuous mode first) works perfectly.*Bulb-shot (don't forget to set your camera to bulb mode first) works perfectly.This is what I found most interesting and pleasantly surprised by;*Video recording on/off (If you set your camera to record mode and press the remote, the video recording starts/press again, it stops) works perfectly.That's not all!The receiver and remote have frequency setting switches,1-4 for communicating to each other set at default all on. You can change this to your own, say 1-up, 2-down, 3-up, 4-down, whichever but they must be the same on both items.I have more than one GH5, so got hold of another of the remote just to try the receiver on that one too with the same frequency settings as the other. Both cameras worked flawlessly with the one remote both with all the photo settings as well as video recording. This means you can operate multiple cameras with one remote (excellent for multi-video shoots), saving the other as spare, or set different frequencies for each camera to operate separately depending on your creative needs.This product does surprisingly more than advertised.Definitely recommend and will be buying more for stock and for a 5-8 multi-cam shoot. The 30-meter range is great too for self-portrait shooting both video and photo.Hope this helps.

Panasonic have been messing about with their Android app of late and it no longer works with my S5 camera. So I bought this. It works fine. There's a receiver that plugs into the camera's 3.5mm socket and a transmitter with a little aerial. Batteries are supplied for both. The receiver can be slotted into the camera's hot shoe to keep it supported, but if you're using the hot shoe for flash then it's easy enough to secure the receiver on the tripod using eg an elastic band or a bit of bluetak. I only need a remote trigger occasionally, and this does the job.

It feels small in the hand. It doesn't feel robust. However it works. Instructions are not the clearest, but it's easy enough to figure out how to work it. I've tested it in home and garden. The signal will pass through 2 internal house walls and trigger the shutter fine. From my garden the signal will not pass through the external house wall. I will always be using it with direct line of sight to the camera so I don't need the signal to pass through any walls. Pleased with my purchase. Excellent value for money.

Very good quality remote, great to use will even work with pro capture on OM cameras, good range, easy to set up, Would recommend for you camera bag

Max distance I could get it to work was about 5 meters, fitted new batteries still the same

Having owned more expensive wireless triggers in the past, wasn't sure how this would compare and all I can say is that it does! Worked straight out of the box with no setup and sits comfortably on top of my Olympus EM1.2. I use it mostly for tripod work and I can keep the remote in my pocket and even activate it from there. Great bit of kit and definitely value for money.

Have used cheap remote controls for photography for many years and found them to be an indispensable aid when working in the studio etc or any time when you don't want to move the camera or are required to work at a distance from it.All seem to be made in China and constructed cheaply but all have worked well over the years - no complaints whatsoever.Since getting a Nikon Z7 I needed a new model though as the remote control connection is of a different design, so I bought the JM-M Wireless Shutter Release Remote Control.Initially thought it was quite good and past experience lulled me into thinking it was as good as previous models I had bought (I believe they are made by Yonguo) but I was going a shoot recently and found that on several occasion the camera had not been triggered as expected. After some experimentation I worked out that the transmission from the remote was not strong enough to communicate with the receiver unit unless the antenna was fully raised. This has not been the case with my Yongnuo remotes which also have an antenna but I don't bother to raise it and although it probably would increase the range it has never been necessary.With the JM-M Wireless Shutter Release Remote Control I have to be really close to be certain the camera triggers.On my experience I would not recommend this unit.

This is very easy to set up, both parts pair as soon as switched on. Very effective for tripod use or with large heavy lenses.

Das Set funtioniert einwandfrei! Es lassen sich auch andere Kabel mit 2,5 mm-Klinke anschliessen. Falls solche von anderen Fernst.-Lösungen vorhanden sind. Ein Ein-/Ausschalter am Sender fehlt. Vielleicht als Verbesserung bei nächster Generation möglich.

Pilot zepsuł się po kilku użyciach, przestał wyzwalać migawkę radiowo(baterie sprawne), zmiana kanału także nie pomogła. Zareklamowałem towar u producenta i brak odpowiedzi od producenta. Nie polecam żadnej elektroniki od firmy JJC
