Mongoose Urban Hardshell Youth/Adult Helmet for Scooter, BMX, Cycling and Skateboarding

I just got a helmet. I opened it and tried it on. The size L fits me perfectly with the foam padding that comes pre-installed, but you also get extra foam pads to adjust the fit within a range of 60-62 cm. My head circumference is 58.5 cm (23.03 inches), and size M would definitely have been too small.For some reason, at the time of my purchase, the white helmet was priced at €4.78, while the black one was €20. I prefer black, but honestly, a price difference of four times didn't make sense to me, so I went with the white one. And what if, regardless of the color, the helmet wasn’t good quality? Maybe it was better to take a chance on the cheaper one since I wasn’t planning to waste time returning it anyway... That was my thought process when buying it.In the end, the product completely exceeded my expectations. The helmet is super comfortable and light as a feather, and the quality is incredible considering the low price. I believe you’d forget you're even wearing it after just a few minutes. The €4.78 price makes this one of my best Amazon purchases ever!

Genuinely a good helmet even for the cheap price. I haven't smacked my head against concrete with it yet (thankfully), but I imagine it would protect me. I am 6ft tall man with a relatively large head so I ordered the "large" and it is a good fit, although still a little wide, comes with spare padding and head protection, I couldn't find any other way to adjust the helmet though apart from taping extra padding to the inside.

My son got a scooter to use at the local skate park so needed a helmet.Researched different ones and this one was affordable and had good reviews.Some are difficult to work out sizes - I ordered a Medium size for my 10 year old son and fits great.Seems good strong construction. Already had taken a few knocks and has protected sons head great!Would recommend this helmet.Took one star off, just for how helmet adjusts for sizes. It comes with different layers of foam which you can insert/remove depending on size of head. Personally would have preferred an adjustable band or something.However, having said that, now that I have this I like it and would recommend it.Always make sure your child has a good helmet if skating/scooting. Too dangerous to take chances.

Recently got a new Mongoose BMX as I used to ride back in 80’s and was feeling nostalgic and saw this lid (as we use to call them!) perfect fit comfy and subtle design to match the bike, cool price 👍🏻

Survived a proper spill on the CS3 cycle superhighway - no cracks just scratches! Lightweight enough that I forget I'm wearing it sometimes. Only issue is the visor fogs up easily in our damp weather. Would recomend for city cycling but maybe not downhill trails.
