Great adhesive!
We recently moved our apartment around and needed to rip off this protector from our kitchenette setup off the floor. Left no residue! It was way to cut to size and move around as needed. Easy install and worked great to keep my cords in place. Like I said we moved things around, I needed less of the cover and was able to cut and reapply to the new location. I do not know if it will be durable enough for a third move and reinstall, but for the twice I did it, no issues. Sticks to the floor perfectly well on the second location. Our robovac goes right over it for cleaning. We had it in place for 2 years before moving it and now it’s been in new place for about 6 months. No lifting, so I would say durability is pretty great.

Good cable hider but robo vac can’t get over it.
Works great as a cable hider, easy to fit in the cables I had and easy to stick it to the ground. I ended up sticking it a bit wonkey but that’s fine for me since it’s behind a couch. Sadly my Robot Vacuum, Roborock S7 MaxV, can’t get over the regular hole one or big hole one. It’ll get half way and get stuck with a wheel in the air. It just set up a boundary to go on either side but crossing won’t work no matter how hard I try to flatten it. This was my main reason to purchase this so I’ll be shopping around for something with a more gradual rise.

Reduces tripping hazards and protects cords
I recently purchased the Floor Cord Cover X-Protector, and I have to say I’m quite pleased with it! I placed heavy books on the ends for the first couple of days to help it flatten out, which worked like a charm. After that initial adjustment period, it sat nicely on the floor. Since I am using this on carpet, I chose not to use the adhesive strips, but it stays in place well enough without them. It effectively covers my power cable, eliminating the tripping hazard that had been bothering me for a while. One thing I’ve noticed is that the silicone material tends to attract dust, but thankfully, it’s easy to wipe clean, so that’s not a huge issue. Overall, this cord cover does a fantastic job fulfilling its purpose, and I feel much safer in my space now. I would give it a solid four stars and recommend it to anyone looking to tidy up their cables and reduce tripping hazards!

Perfect for outside use too.
Used this outside to cover the extension cords for our tree spotlights. The product is high quality. It I would suggest heating it gently with a heat gun and letting it sit for a bit when using in cement. I let it sit without walking on it or bothering it and now I can run it over with trash cans and it doesn’t move

Perfect Size and Blends In
The length is just right, and it matches the office carpet nicely. Easy to install and keeps cords protected and out of the way. Works exactly as expected.

X-Protector's Floor Cord Cover is the BEST!
I have 2 HDMI cables and 1 USB extension running from behind a 72" wall-mounted monitor, and across the floor to access points in our conference table. I've tried a fabric cord cover with Velcro backing (fabric could not keep the cords in place) and a traditional plastic cord cover (the channels held the cords securely but the cover would not lay flat, creating a bigger trip-hazard than the cords!). I found the X-Protector on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I was concerned when it arrived coiled in its plastic container, but - as promised - it lays flat immediately once in position. Check out the photo I took just 5 minutes after it was in place. The "Big Hole" cover easily accomodates all 3 cables and it's sturdy enough to hold them securely within the channel. Best of all, the self-adhesive backing keeps the cord cover firmly in place - even on carpet. It even comes in multiple colors for a reasonable match to existing flooring. X-Protector's cord cover has eliminated the eyesore and trip hazard in our conference room, while protecting the connections needed for our team to work with maximum efficiently during meetings. 100% satisfied.

Decent way to hide cables
I purchased this to use at work for our conference room. There was a CAT 5 cable running from the wall to the conference table, creating a tripping hazard and getting stuck under the chair wheels. We have the vinyl wood flooring in that room as an fyi. There's not much to comment on, but here is my overall thoughts on this product: Pros: - This was easy to install. Clean the flooring, run the cable through the opening, pull the tape protection, and lay down. - The cable slit down the length was wide enough to get the cable to run easily through it. - It laid out flat pretty quick after opening. This really surprised me since it was rolled up in the packaging. Usually I struggle to flatten rolled up product like this. - We have grey floors and the grey matched alright. - It definitely removed the tripping hazard Cons: - The material doe not seem like it would protect the cables that well. It is pretty thin. This also leads to one other problem...you cannot roll over it very easily. The CAT5 cable is not that larger of a cable and you can definitely feel it when you try to roll over it. Other similar products that I've seen were much sturdier and easier to roll over. This just gives too much, so you still get stuck on the cable. - The backing tape was decent but not great. Even with the single cable running through it, the tape wanted to pull up. I cleaned the floor very well before installing, but it still wanted to peel up on the side the cable was laying. You definitely do not want a thick cable running through it. The advertised extension cord protector is not something that I think would work too well, unless it was one of those really thin ones. If a standard CAT5 was almost too big, then a standard extension cord would be too big; you would not get the cover to stick. Would I purchase this again? It really depends. If I were looking to remove a tripping hazard, this worked pretty good and would work even better for a smaller cable. In an application where you have a larger cable, looking for something that you can roll over, and/or cable protection, I would say that I'd look for a heavier duty product. This one just does not work in those applications.

Easy to install and cut to the proper size. I’ve had this cord cover in place to prevent myself and my students from tripping over the power cord leading to my desk. It has held up really well over the past few months. It hasn’t shown any signs of coming off.
