Great upgrade from stock !
Sounds great compared to the stock Tacoma speakers. One caution. Don’t tighten down on the tweeter brackets too much. Plastic tabs will easily break off. I put a washer on top to fix and support the other screws. Look at the difference in woofer magnets !

The Excelelon Reference is awesome
Simply said, the speakers are excellent. They are very easy to install with the appropriate adapters.As I have heard these gems in a demonstration room with great satisfaction, I was surprised how well they performed in my SUV.My only complaint is that part of the speaker description on Amazon is incorrect.

Great component setup, buy the Kenwood tweeters and enjoy.
Replaced blown factory speakers in a Lexus gx470. These speakers have amazing channel separation. The mids, lows and highs sound great. Way better than the factory units ever did.Crutchfield showed that the speakers would not fit, man were they wrong. Almost a direct replacement. Glad I decided to go with Kenwood!
