Proctor Silex Waffle Cone and Ice Cream Bowl Maker

This waffle iron is amazing! I use this almost everyday for making breakfast stroopwaffle and sometimes snack stroopwaffles. The temperature control feature this waffle iron has is something I didnt see on other stroopwaffle iron choices. This made my decision very easy and worth it. This waffle iron is very light and small for easy traveling which makes it convenient to stuff into the car for visiting family. I have had this thing for over a year and this stroopwaffle iron has been the one I liked the most. It is so easy to clean and maintain. I simply start by wiping it with a wet paper towel to pick up and oil and crumps. Then a use a dry paper towel to dry and pick up any remaining mess. Next I wipe a little bit of canola oil on both sides with a soft brush. I then turn it on and let it hear up for a bit. When it has been heated for at least ten minutes, unplug the machine and wipe the extra oil with a dry paper towel. I perform this process every 2-3 weeks since I use it most mornings. If I use it more often, maintenance work must be done every day or every few days would be more appropiate. When using it, I use either Bisquick waffle mix, homemade cone mix (for ice cream cones and bowls) or my very own homemade oatmeal waffle mix. This waffle iron handles them well. Make sure your regular waffle mix works well. There is a little bit of steam but nothing too much to worry about. Just use it while not too close to wooden cabinets. There is only smoke if you are burning something. I personally dont like using the plastic cone maker. I have my own stainless steel cone making tools that work out much better. For bowls, I currently only have a plastic one but it works out okay. Overall, this is a great stroop waffle iron. I think it may outlast the warranty I bought for this. Some waffle irons I have bought dont make it past their warranty. I’ll try to update this review if anything changes.

I really Love this waffle cone maker! It works wonderful! I have fun making the cones and they really taste so much better than the ones that you can buy. I have not had any issues with the cones sticking to the iron at all. I take it up north with me so it is very easy to travel with! I like the fact that it comes with the cone shaper and also the bowl maker! It is all made of good quality material! It heats up quickly, so making them is really a breeze! I really do Love this little gadget!! It is fun to use!!

I love this waffle cone maker. It is a big improvement over the one that I had. I used the recipe included with the waffle maker and it is easy and delicious. I was able to make 9 cones or, making bowls, nine bowls. I found that just less that 1/4 cup was the perfect amount for either bowl or cone. I followed the directions and within the 2-3 minute range, I had perfectly cooked batter. Folding around the cone mold can be tricky. Definitely protect your finger with paper towels. Those cones are HOT. For me, it took four sessions to figure out a folding technique that would close the bottom of the cone. I still dribbled some melted chocolate into the bottom to prevent ice cream from leaking out. I have friends eager to try making cones, so this machine will be getting a lot of use.

Love this, works perfectly and once the included recipe is followed, they come out perfectly and smell divine. Unfortunately, I mistakenly threw out my cone roller so need a replacement. I used this like 4 times and the time between each cone is decent- 4 mins each. Easy to clean, feels durable . Doesn’t burn the goods. It’s a good weight to move, just a few pounds. Definitely recommend.

Works great. Easy to use, easy to clean. I use a simple recipe with almond flour, sugar, butter and egg with a pinch of salt and cinnamon. Turns out perfect every time. The forms make it easy to make the cones and bowls. Works great. It's fun to make and share these at parties.

This is a good quality waffle cone maker. We use it to make waffle chips. Takes about 45 seconds per cone……but has been a great purchase at a value price.

Just ordered my 2nd Waffle Iron......Bought the first one, exactly one year ago today.....it just quit. I use it extensively, probably 4 to 500 times......so I feel that was pretty good service. So I ordered another. I use it to make crackers.......for my family......

How did I not have this sooner? Grandson asked for Ice cream tacos for his birthday. After hunting for premade shells in the store, and realizing for my crowd size it was going to cost as much to buy premade, I ordered this and the Krusteau mix. OH my goodness, it works fabulously. BUT its the smell of them cooking that puts out such an aroma in the house that beats any candle or spray. I have since ordered the chocolate version too. VERY quick and easy to use. I often will mix up a batch to make one or two just as a cookie snack.

Ease to use, even heat distribution, l made egg roll, waffle cone, and waffle bowl, all turn out good.
