Ace Your Casual Games with These Affordable, Quality Ping Pong Balls! ๐๐ธ๐
TLDR: Great value ping pong balls, lighter than premium ones but work well for casual play. ๐๐ฐ๐ Diving into the world of ping pong, I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur of balls. But when I was tasked with replenishing the stash for a buddy's table, I was instructed to aim for the 3-star variety. Enter these top-rated gems. Among my playing circle, which skews towards the more serious and experienced, the consensus was pretty positive. Sure, they noted that these balls are on the lighter side compared to their usual high-end, wallet-thinning options (think $2.50 per ball vs. my budget-friendly $0.20 choice). They considered the pricier, heavier ones as their championship-caliber gear, but for a casual player like me, these were more than adequate โ and the price was unbeatable. There was this one moment when a friend โ let's call him the Ping Pong Purist โ turned his nose up at my budget-friendly balls during a relaxed game. He made a beeline for the premium stash instead. But hey, to each their own! For someone who enjoys the game without getting tangled in the nuances of ball weight and performance, these balls hit the sweet spot. They're perfect for friendly matches and won't break the bank. So, while they might not make the cut for the pros, for players like me, they're just right.

Nice Balls
quality balls for our teen center. They treat them very poorly and hold up well. Nice quantity and value for the money. Packaged well and shipped quickly.

Good price and rating. Plays fine for me!
While I play ping pong (or table tennis) frequently, I don't know that I am discerning enough to know a good ball from a great ball. When I was buying these to replace the supply for a friend with the table I use, I was told to make sure to get a 3-star ball. This seemed to be top-rated, so I got them. Nobody among my play group (mostly more experienced and serious than I) complained about the balls, but they observed that they are lighter weight than than the super-pricy balls they usually get ($2.50/ball vs. this $0.20 ball). I was told that they would use the expensive heavier ball for championship use, but I am not a champion, and the ball plays fine for me (at < 1/10th the price!). I did have one of my friends king of turn up his nose at the ball during a recreational session, and he went over and selected one of the pricey/premium balls instead. Oh well!

Really good for the price
Most of the cheap so-called 3-star balls (they're all mislabeled and definitely not 3-star quality) are worthless because of their unpredictable bounce and non-spherical shapes, but Kevenz are really solid for the price with a more round shape, predictable bounce and consistent quality. While they'll never replace Nittaku Premium balls for tournament play or even serious club play, they are more than adequate for practice sessions at a fraction of the cost of around 20c per ball versus $3 per Nittaku ball. They are better than most of the non-Nittaku "premium" 3-star balls from well known manufacturers that cost $1 to $2 per ball.
