Teal Art Glass Jellyfish 4.5" Glow in The Dark

Very happy with it when I received it it was better looking than the picture I saw of it.

Here is a really pretty sight every time I see it. Love these glass items because I put them on a slow turning led base that changes colors. It makes a fabulous display. Kind of like having xmas lights all year round without the stigma.

This was a housewarming gift to myself. I’ve always admired the jellyfish paperweights available as souvenirs at the aquariums. Now, having waited a whole year for my renovation to be completed, I decided I’d earned this.How amazing that it came on the day of my first sleep in! And it came with a light to illuminate it that changed colors (I had forgotten that feature). What a lovely way to celebrate my new home.

I wasn't sure what to expect for a solid glass paperweight as advertised, BUT was pleasantly surprised.Very nicely done - - the head of the jellyfish appears to be a big air bubble, and the tentacles have magically been implantedThe jellyfish head DOES glow in the dark - - this effect would have been SO MUCH BETTER if the tentacles glowed in the dark as well.I have this mounted on a rotating display stand that is lit from the bottom (only took 3 tries to get this right)amazon /gp/product/B00K8A80TU - - do NOT try cheaper ones - I tried 2 - they failed miserablyI've connected the display unit to a timer - on at 7PM, off at 11:30. Perfect.I'm going to send this Glass/Display/Timer combo to my 92 YO Mom for her Valentines Birthday. Very Happy.

Although this glass jellyfish bottle looks cute, it does not glow in the dark. When I ordered the item there was no explanation at the website as to how to make this happen. Based on reading the explanatory text at other websites that sell similar glow in the dark items, exposure to light is required in order to cause the glass item to glow in the dark. I will keep the item in spite of this discrepancy because it looks cute in the space where I put it and it is too much of a hassle for me to repack and reship it safely in order to return it.

This is really beautiful when sitting on top of a lighted pedestal. It is okay without, but I purchased an LED Pedestal from Florida Gifts (Amazon) and this is now a gorgeous piece for my etigere! I just purchased another one as a gift and I know it will be a nice piece for their home as well. I put 3 AAA batteries in it because I do not want the cord. Thank you SPI Home for a very nice glass figure! Sorry for the sideways photo, I tried to rotate every where I could with no success. I have had this issue on Amazon several times before.

Wow this thing is amazing! I put it on a LED light base that cycled through colors and could gaze at it for hours. Also the glow-in-the-dark feature is really neat after a half hour or so of being exposed to light. It's small and really dense. What surprised me the most was how tiny the base was (~1.5 inches / 4 cm in diameter). Considering how dense this product is and how most of the mass is in the upper portion, a slight touch would be enough to make it wobble and any more force would cause it to tip over. Yet the pros outweigh the cons and overall it's a cool product!

Small than what I had expected but just as beautiful and unique as the picture.
