It was amazing that this one tool could bend the wire into more than one size of loop, and I decided this tool would help me as a new person making jewelry. The other tool that comes with it is a positive for closing the loop, is easy to use, and gives a nice, finished appearance. I recommend these two pieces; they will make your wire bending a bit easier.

The nylon covered pliers seem fine, and do a good job of straightening wire. However, the bail makers came with a bur on each end of the smallest ends, making it nearly impossible to remove a coil of wire. I had to take a file to the ends to get them off, which worried me about maintaining the perfect roundness of them. Usable, but not the greatest quality.

These are essential tools for any novice or full fledged professional. You need the same size jumping or loop, this is how your going yo get it. You need to correct a twist on the wire, this is what you teach for. Add these tools to your collection!

I was in a hurry when I ordered this set and only looked at available review pictures. I noticed some complaints about them arriving well packaged but dirty. That is grease to protect from corrosion for the union time they’d spend waiting to be bought by someone. Simply wipe them down and apply 3 in 1 machine oil to keep protected without having the grease gel feel. I’ve only had them a day but both pliers felt and worked well. I’m very satisfied with the purchase. As long as they last for x-years I think they’re great.
