Definitely worth purchasing and includes several great movies!

Every genre has its own conventions, and there’s always a certain period that follows them. However, some people are the ones who shape those conventions, and one of them is the brilliant American writer, Stephen King. Since childhood, he’s been scaring us in the most fascinating way, always keeping us on edge because you never know how things will end. Sometimes, it’s a happy ending, sometimes a tragic one, and sometimes it doesn’t even end at all. The collection I’m recommending includes eight classic films inspired by King’s work. There’s The Shining by Stanley Kubrick, It (with the talented young actor Jonathan Brandis), Salem’s Lot, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Creepshow, Cat’s Eye—some of the best horror films from the 80s and 90s. The film quality is original, and it takes me back to the days when I watched horror films as a kid and teenager, in their true colors (yes, I did watch them back then, though I’d recommend paying attention to age ratings!). I highly recommend this to anyone who loves Stephen King’s work, as well as sci-fi and horror with an unconventional storyline.

I had hemmed and hawed about buying this box set for a while. Truthfully, I had most of the movies and my main reason for getting it was to save space in my collection. But eventually the need for space became more prudent, so I purchased it. Even so I always thought it was a great collection of movies for somebody that didn’t have them. For the most part, these are some of Stephen King’s best film adaptions plus the original Works of Creepshow and cat’s-eye. I don’t know why the green mile and Shawshank redemption are here since they’re not horror movies but they’re still great films to have. probably the only dud here is Dreamcatcher, which probably just got slipped on to move a few copies. Even so these are seven great movies that that are a great addition to any horror or general film collection

my partner is a Stephen king fan so I bought this for him as a gift & it was packed well except dreamcatcher was lose and alittle scratched up but that's a easy fix so still gave 5 stars
