delivery was okay but was coming from china, however when it came one of the LEDs wasn't working - alright for me as it was part of a development project I was working on but would have been frustrated if it was for the final project!

For the price with free shipping these are a great buy. When I compare the price there's no option, this is a better deal than buying from the local shops that want over $4 apiece. Are the locally sourced displays any better, not that I've noticed and they probably come out of the same factory.I've ordered a dozen of them now and all of them are still working years later. Like many people I like building my own stuff like power supplies and such. While it’s alright to simply have an "on" LED it’s a lot more fun to have something that gives me a relative indication of what's going on.The leads a nicely tinned and offer no challenge when soldering. Spacing is standard for any similar product and fit everything from prototype to production circuit boards. When using the correct resisters and drivers I can attest that these will work for a very long time. I've had some on a terrarium fan controller that have been running now for over 2 years 24/7 and not a single LED failure.
