Message Recorder 10 Second Recordable Sound Module for Stuffed Animal Insert, Craft Projects and Scentsy Buddies

I bought this to go inside a crochet Freddie Mercury doll a friend made for me. Now he sings "ey-oh" whenever you press his tummy. This little voice box gave the perfect finishing touch to a precious treasure. Now when I get her to crochet the rest of the band each will definitely have the same voice box with fun sounds corresponding to each member.The voice box isn't the most amazing quality it has stereotypical faults of lesser quality voice boxes. Background static and poping noises in the beginning and end of playback cycle are issues but the price is good and it works well.Another issue is a red light that glows on playback. My friend strategically placed it where the doll's heart would be. It's cute that way and doesn't bother me but it is worth noting incase it does bother you.Over all it works well and is a good price. I highly recommend this voice box. It was easy to program and easy to use. I will be purchasing more in the future.

The packaging for this is a little elementary but it does arrive in a little baggie with instructions. The instructions are simple. The unit itself performs very well as far as recording quality and playback both. I can't speak to the life of the battery but you can change them if they die. This is great for pranks, like I used it for; replacing a broken one in your stuffed animal or if you just want to record your own voice for playback for a special loved one. Price is right for this product.

I bought this for my daughter who used it in a stuffed animal that she had to sew for a science project. For the price this worked extremely well and was easy to push in the stuffed animal. It took us a few recordings to get the correct sound and it was easy to record over and over until we got the sound right. If you need a good recordable sound module to put in stuffed animals at a great price this is a great one to use.

Works just as it's advertised and comes with a Iittle sheet of easy to follown instructions. I used mine to record a wrestling meme from a prank phone call that my boyfriend just dies of laughter when he listens to it. It the one that goes, "And his name is John Cena!" and then some goofy music plays. I attached it to a life-sized cardcoard cutout of Cena and surprised my wrestling fanatic boyfriend with it for his birthday today... And let's just say he could barely stop laughing to breathe 😂 The only small downside was that it took several, several tries to get the recorded sound to not sound too loud, quiet, or scratchy. Eventually I got a clip that was good enough though. It can record up to much longer than 10 seconds, though and you can stop recording any time.

I purchased this recordable sound module to put inside a plush toy to give to a friend as a gag gift (put it in a gremlin). The device itself is very small, and super easy to add in the plush. Recording on it was also very easy, just turn the top of the module and press the small black button to record your message. The sound quality was actually better than I had expected, especially because of the price. There is a little bit of white noise in the background of the recording I did, but the message is still loud and clear over it. As for the volume of the playback, I think it was just the right level; anything louder would probably be weird to put into a plush that a sleeping child may accidentally press.Random advice, but if you're planning on shipping a plush or any other project you put this device in, I would recommended adding a good amount of air pillows, packing peanuts, etc. around the object because when I originally packaged mine the device kept going off with little pressure added to the package.Its been a little over a year since I gave my friend her gift with this inside and the battery still works just fine! I would recommend this to anyone.

For one, the one I got does not look like this. I'm not sure really why that happened. Could be an Amazon issue, but this is the page I bought it from. Mine has the holes in the star-like pattern you may see in the "similar items" scroll on the bottom of the page. This is probably an Amazon issue and does not have weight in my review.A couple of issues: 1. The 3.99 price I paid does not guarantee any really good sound quality. It is sub par and muddy at best. You really need to speak clearly if you want to understand what you are saying in playback. 2. I have no idea why this is designed like it is, but when you switch to "record" you are supposed to hold down the playback button and speak into the microphone. When you do, it makes this ungodly loud beep and then two ungodly loud beeps when you release it. It is the equivalent of what you would hear from a fire alarm which has to be loud to get your attention. Make sure you cover the speaker before starting to record to soften it. Why it couldn't be a quiet beep, I don't know. It's made in China and for $3.99 you get what you pay for. It'll work for my purposes, but if you are looking for something great, PASS. If you just need a cheap one,go nuts.
