I bought this item for my husband. The magnet is super strong. It stayed on during a terrible rain storm and still worked perfectly!!!! We have had this item for about 6 months and still haven’t changed the battery. The size doesn’t interfere with grilling at all, it’s the perfect size. The light is bright enough to shine on our grill and provide light even on our small side table. I’m glad I bought this item.

This thing is AWESOME! Probably amongst the best money I’ve spent at Amazon. My Weber grill is positioned in an enclosure midway between two exterior door lights so it doesn’t get any direct lighting. I picked this up as a curiosity and couldn’t be happier. Installation isn’t too bad just the pictures are a little hard to understand but once you are at the grill it makes sense and attached snugly to the grill lid/hood grab handle in your choice of locations - bonus it came with the needed AA batteries! Two unexpected but great features I want to call out: 1) the led light is a nice warm white (more like a 3000k color) which is perfect for seeing the color of the food you are grilling and reduces glare back. 2) fun function - it has a gyro or some sort of internal switch that turns the light on automatically as you raise the grill hood; and again turns the light off when closing the hood. That thrilled me vs. using the side switch multiple times in a grilling session. I have one for a 3 burner Genesis II - it’s plenty for that grill but any larger grill surface I’d look at having two installed. Highly recommend!

I have had an older Webber grill light similar to this one. I bought a second grill and wanted a light for that one. I looked at my old order and found the light I had was no longer available, and this light was the recommended replacement, so I got it. The light is relatively easy to install compared to my old light but sliding the light onto the mounting bracket (and removing it to take advantage of the "Go") was difficult. I ended up putting some silicone lubricant on the mating surfaces to make it easier. Tools are not needed to replace the batteries, a definite plus compared to the old light. Using the light is a little too fidgety for me. If you turned on the old light, it lit up when you opened the lid and went off when you closed it, so you could leave the switch on all the time. This one you need to turn on every time you use it. If you don't move it or you leave the lid open, after a while the light automatically turns off and you need to manually turn it on again, good for the batteries, but a pain if you are leaving the lid open to cook or have your hands full of food and utensils. As a flashlight, it's a good grill light. Not a great flashlight and with the tight fit to the bracket I probably will never use it as one. If I wanted a flashlight, I would have bought one. If I need one while grilling, my phone is a better light (or I'll step inside and get, you know, a flashlight)! Bottom line, I'd buy it again. It does what I wanted it for, but the "improvements" over the previous version aren't really improvements (more like complications). I hope they don't impact the reliability of the product.

Awesome upgrade for an older Genesis grill! Perfect fit, and not having to worry about leaving the light on and running out the battery is wonderful. Excellent light coverage plus intelligent power capability, don’t hesitate by this one.

Fantastic addition to my Weber Genesis II. I grill in all weather and all times of the day. I absolutely hated grilling in the dark and this totally fixed my problem. Love it!

This light is a perfect fit for a 2016 Weber Spirit E-210 Grill. I had the original Weber light for 7 years or more but the Florida humidity finally got it. The new version is chrome and as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted it. The chrome version feels and looks somewhat more heavy duty than the original, and it's definitely brighter. Did it make my dirty grill look new again? Nope. But sure did add some much needed light to night time barbeques. I didn't realize how much I missed my old light until I installed this one. Installation was quick and easy, and it fit my grill handle nicely (see pictures). This is a no brainer if you need to shed some direct light on what your grilling.

Mi trovo molto bene. Stupendo il sensore movimento che accende la luce alzando il coperchio del bbq, e spegne la luce ribassando il coperchio. L’ho applicato sulla maniglia di un marchio diverso da Weber senza problemi. Consiglio questo accessorio a tutti appassionati del bbq. Non può mancare!

Ich habe mir das Weber Grill ’N Go Light für meinen Spirit geholt und bin begeistert. Sobald ich den Deckel hochklappe, geht das Licht automatisch an und die gesamte Grillfläche ist gleichmäßig ausgeleuchtet . Super praktisch, wenn es abends dunkel wird. Besonders gefällt mir, dass man die Lampe auch einfach vom Griff abziehen und wie eine kleine Taschenlampe nutzen kann. Die Montage war kinderleicht und das Licht ist angenehm hell, ohne zu blenden. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Bei starkem Regen nehme ich sie lieber ab, damit sie länger hält. Fazit: Für mich ein richtig nützliches Zubehör, das das Grillen am Abend deutlich entspannter macht ,würde ich sofort wieder kaufen.
