Great price for a beautiful latte matcha!
I love matcha and have tried many high end options for koicha and usucha. This is a great option for someone who enjoys lattes! Organic matcha is a bit different since they don’t use as many chemicals to fertilize etc, but this really is everything you’d need for nice matcha latte especially if organic is a priority. Great color and flavor that can hold up in a latte. Cacao notes pair great with vanilla bean syrup and almond milk. Price is great for what you get!

Love this
I'm obsessed. I am SO glad I switched from coffee to matcha. Coffee is too acidic and intense for me. I used to be obsessed with coffee, now I am obsessed with matcha X). Coffee started giving me PVCs in my mid 30s unfortunately. This does not. I would like to flag, however that, while the tannins and polyphenols in teas do NOT decrease the serum iron levels in your blood/body (ferritin, nor your CBC), they DO negatively impact iron absorption. I take Thorne Ferrasorb daily, but I take it at night, far away from my morning matcha, so it doesn't interfere with that. Just a head's up for my potentially anemic or iron deficient folks out there. Now, back to the product: if you have discovered the truth about matcha and tea like I did, and know that color actually represents health benefits and quality (richer, deeper, bolder green reflects the way it was grown and harvested, and indicates that there are more polyphenols such as antioxidants/catechins - EGCG, chlorophyll, l-theanine), as well as about third party testing for heavy metals, do not fear! This matcha ACTUALLY looks like the photos, is high quality, and is third-party tested and transparent. It's really difficult to capture the true color, even with flash on, but I've attempted to include a pic here. I transfer mine from the bag into a glass jar for appearance in my kitchen and ease of use - keeping it in the bag is likely the best way to keep it fresh though. The texture is perfect; it blends easily and does not clump. It leaves me with controlled, clean, non-jittery energy. It is SO DELICIOUS, earthy, smooth, and not bitter. REMEMBER that you cannot mix boiling water with matcha or it will compromise the color and make it taste bitter. This is also a lot of high quality matcha for the price, especially considering the regions from which it is sourced and all of the work that goes into getting it from the seeds to your cup! 10/10 recommend

Absolutely love this ceremonial grade matcha! Smooth, vibrant, and authentic.
This Naoki ceremonial grade matcha is an absolute dream for matcha lovers! Sourced from Kagoshima, Japan, the first-harvest spring blend has a vibrant green color and a rich, naturally sweet flavor profile with zero bitterness. It whips up into a wonderfully smooth, frothy cup whether prepared traditionally or as an iced latte. High quality, authentic, and an absolute joy to start the morning with!

Great for daily matcha lattes!
If you read the top reviews for this matcha, you’ll see a lot of people complaining about a lack of "umami" or a slight bitter edge. But let’s be real: if you are making matcha lattes with milk and sugar, you actually need that bit of bitterness. I drink matcha all the time and have tried the top-tier luxury brands, and honestly, if you use ultra-expensive ceremonial matchas, the delicate flavor gets completely drowned out by the milk. On the flip side, cheap culinary matcha looks muddy yellow and tastes terrible—the milk won't save it. Naoki hits the absolute sweet spot. It has a beautiful, vibrant green color and foams up incredibly well—just as great as the expensive brands. The grind is so fine that I don't even need to sift it; it whisks up perfectly smooth. Most importantly, it has just enough bite to cut through the milk. For context, my daily go-to in a 16 oz cup is 4 grams of this matcha, 20g of agave (it sounds like a lot, but for a 16 oz cup it’s perfect), and the rest milk. It turns out amazing every single time because the matcha actually cuts through. 4 g is a lot, but it’ll last you a month. For the price point and convenience on Amazon, this is easily the best daily-driver matcha on the market. Don’t let the snobbish reviews discourage you if you're a latte lover. :)

Good matcha for everything!
Perfect for lattes or ceremonial tea with just water. The taste smooth and slightly sweet and a little aromatic which is very delightful. It’s not as grainy as other matchas. I also added it to ice cream to make a matcha affogato, and this one is really good for that.

Great Matcha for Making Lattes at Home
I really like this matcha! I’ve been drinking matcha for years but had never tried making it at home, and this made the process so easy. It mixes together really well and has a smooth consistency with very few clumps. The quality definitely exceeded my expectations, and I love that it’s organic. It has a great flavor without being overly sweet or bitter. I like to add a little honey to mine, and it comes out perfect every time. I’ll definitely be buying it again!

great flavor for a great price
I repurchase this matcha frequently, it is one of my favorites. I use it in matcha lattes w/ milk. The flavor is strong, good quality. The color is a vibrant green. Tastes so yum! Comes in a bag inside the tin for freshness. Be warned if you are new to matcha: the tin is pretty small but this is standard for matcha powders! All things considered, it is a great matcha for a great price point.

Best Matcha Around!
Hands down the best Matcha you can buy! The color is beautiful vibrant green! It's creamy and mixes well. The flavor is amazing! Not bitter, just perfect and smooth! Other matcha brands here, really vary quite a bit in taste, color and quality are inconsistent. This brand quality and taste and color is always consistent. The Organic Ceremonial First Spring Blend ice the BEST!

Good matcha
Bought this as a present for a matcha lover. She said this is among the best she's had. And she goes to Uji, etc. and drinks matcha there.
