Fits Perfectly and No More Scratched Floors!
I purchased this item on my own with no compensation for this review. Please click on Helpful at the bottom of this review if what I wrote is useful to you. My old attachment lost a wheel and was scraping along the floors. This solved that issue. There are two settings -- one for floors and one for rugs. I don't always use the right setting for the floor it's designed for, which is fine. Find the setting that feels right as you vacuum and you'll be fine.

Fit my Eureka Mighty Mite better than the original. Good purchase, I recommend it.

I always appreciate when a relatively expensive electronic appliance (air conditioner, vacuum cleaner, etc.) has parts that can be replaced easily and inexpensively. I got this to replace the head attachment for my Eureka AirExcel 990A, which broke after 4 good years of use. This thing replaced it perfectly. Now I don't have to replace the whole vacuum cleaner.

Better than the stock head!
Edit: I’ve had this replacement head now for over 2 years and it’s still holding up well after daily use! I still love it! I have the Mighty Mite vacuum that I use daily on tile and concrete floors. The stock head it came with broke after 11 months. I bought this as a replacement and it’s SO MUCH BETTER!! Moves more smoothly and the two settings for rugs and tile is much better!

Wrong replacement part for the vacuum...
Yeah...even though this was supposed to be a replacement part....it didn't fit. Too much of a hassle to deal with another return. I don't know...I guess it might work, but the entire experience of trying to just get something that works to vacuum the floor with what I already purchased was unpleasant. Only gave it a 1 star...because vacuuming should not suck this much.
