Why does the label NOT say this is 100% pure essential oil or call it an essential oil, for that matter??

My White Tea oil says "pure essential oil" but it may not say that on the other scents.

Is it non-poisonous for pets?

Actually we don't recommend using these oils around your pet. Pets have a much better sense of smell than we do, so something that seems light to us may be overwhelming to them. If you still want to use essential oils in the car freshener when your dog is in the car, please add fewer drops of essential oils than you normally do. But in this case, the scent would be too weak for you. Hope this answers your question.

Is this like “Dark Tea” that this company used to make? Same plant name, but does it smell the same?

Not sure, but it's probable. It's a way way different smell. It's not bad, just not white tea at all. The problem is you don't know which one you going to get in the end
