My daughter loved it.. it took her a little while to figure it out but that’s just perfect.. don’t want it too easy. Looks great on the shelf .

Lighter than expected.
Gave as a gift to my family puzzler and he enjoyed it. I was able to stuff a gas card in it so they would find it when opened.

Perfect for Bibliophiles
This is a charming and inventive box, and I loved spending the time to figure it out. As a bibliophile, this fits nicely with my bookshelves. It's really nice that the solution actually involves a key (rather than just sliding the box open.) I've taken one star off since the wood feels a little thin and breakable, but it has held up nicely through a move and my use during the past few months. Overall, an enjoyable piece with which I am satisfied.

Functional, cute, and sturdy.

Difficult but not too difficult.
I gave this to my grandson for his 11th birthday. He loved figuring out the puzzle just as much as the cash inside. I love that the puzzle is solved in two parts, find the key, find the key hole. So fun!

Of every decor item I've ever bought this is my favorite. It's not a very hard/frustrating puzzle box. It's really cool decor. There's a small chip on the side but I can excuse it. ^-^

Beautifully crafted
I love this little puzzle box!!! In a few simple moves - although quite “puzzling” if you try without the enclosed instructions - you will open a beautiful box lined with a red velvety-type material that can be used to store a few precious treasures of your own choosing. I cannot wait to give it to my daughter!

Cute but not much of a locking mechanism....
The locking mechanism isn't very strong a little bit of pressure will actually force it open very easily so its hard to tell when its even locked or not . Didnt expect it to keep people out in a serious manner but its hard to tell if i's even locked in the first place so the whole sneaky key hiding space thing is pointless if you can just lightly pull on the lid and it opens anyways .The slide things to get the key are way to loose and sloppy too

I really liked this box. It was just the right difficulty to challenge the average person for 3-10 min if they dont give up.
