I bought these for my aunt. They are heartwarming to say the least. The finish was beautiful just as they were but just to make sure that my aunt could enjoy them for many years to come, I sprayed 2 coats of rustoleum clear gloss Stop Rust paint over the entire surface of both Crains. My aunt called me an hour ago and asked me to order a set for my sister. I ordered them and thought I would write my review. These are not fabricated from tin cam materials. The metal is heavy a doesn’t bend easily. I would suggest picking up 2 more U shaped hooks so you can use 2 hooks per bird. You wouldn’t want them to fall over and chip the paint. I recommend this set of cranes. They will stand quietly while they change your mood for the better.

The Japanese Blue Herons make a beautiful accent for the lawn. They are easy to assemble. The wing connector is easy to break. Had to purchase additional fixations and manual fix one of the wings before incorporating them in the flower bed. Orlando, FL

Easy to assemble and secure with pins purchased separately. Color is realistic. Has withstood winds and so far has not faded, but it’s early in the season. Light weight and worth the price.

Love them! They are nicely made and so graceful looking.

Very cute, but much more cheaply built than I would have expected at this price. Very flimsy and the stake provided would never hold them down. If it’s at all windy, the wings fall off. I’ve only had these a few days and have had to put them back together a couple of times. Pretty disappointed in these.

Love these ! We set them up along side our pond in a mossy area and added a nest between them made of twigs with 2 blue ornament bulbs that look like eggs. A really neat display. I was very pleased with them as well as the price. I also bought these as a gift for someone who lives at the beach and will be a nice focal point at her cottage garden. One thing I might add is that I bent the wings down a bit so the design side could be seen more. When assembling the wings on to the body it seemed like they were backward

I bought these birds two years ago. We sprayed five coats of clear Rustoleum on them to protect them outdoors. Nevertheless, they rusted within two months--to the point of the metal flaking off (as well as all the color). The wings continuously kept falling off, too. I have had other bird sculptures but never ones this poorly made and disappointing. They look beautiful in the picture, but they looked like low-quality trash within a very short period of time in the garden. They are beyond repair, so have had to throw them away.

Hello,i almost didn,t buy those heron after i read the negative comment about them,but buy mistake i did bush the button buy and t hey were on their way to my home,i did contac them to cancelled my order but too late,in my mind every negative comment were always poping and after3 days got home from a trip and there in the hallway the big box was arrived,i hesitated and decided to open it,i,m am very please wit the product they are beautiful on my front home lawn and got a lot of where did you find them,they are beautiful,sometime ccritics are not to listen,annyway the stakes that help them to stay up are not enough tuff,i used tne one to keep the tent up they are more sturdy.they are a bit expensive but i love them...

The herons make a beautiful addition to my garden. They can be blown over as the fasteners are not long enough into the ground to make them super sturdy.They are easy to put together and the paint job is excellent.

These are beautifully displaced in my garden. The wire anchors supplied are not sufficient enough. You will need something with weight as any type of wind will blow them over and dent the metal.

The herons are beautiful but poorly made. The stakes to hold them in the ground are too short (U-shaped, about four inches long). The first night I had them up, the wind came up and blew one of them over, breaking off the tab that holds the wing to the body. I will now need to glue it back on and hope it holds. I went to a hardware store and purchased two long double prongs to hold the feet on the ground. Although they do the job, they spoil the looks of the birds. There should be a heavy base attached to the feet to counterbalance the top-heavy birds. They were far too expensive for the quality.
