They work, keep the toes warm worth the investment
I used these in treestand, a blind, and on point on snow covered mountains. They work as advertised. If your toes are cold before you put them on you will have to add some heat source. I used hand warmers. Not made to hike in, as described in the instructions, absolutely no grip on slippery surfaces.

They're just what you need when in your stand December when its 19F
I put them on when i walk to my stand. They mostly block the wind, so don't feel that these will provide insulation. Sure there is some insulating features, but over all, these suckers block the wind, especially when its sub-zero. I would recommend and have them with me in my backpack whenever it drops below 32F

Boot mittens
Did good with my hunting boots with temps in the teens and 20’s with 20+ mph winds. I did put the hot hands super pack in each one, Did terrible with my rubber boots. Even when sizing up they barely fit.

Let's Address Some Sizing Confusion
I wear size US size 10.5. Reading the description I bought a large (normal for my shoe size). This would be fine if I were buying theses to put over my tennis shoes or normal type hiking boots. However, I hunt in cold conditions (freezing temps and below), so I hike with Cabelas Denali heavy insulated boots or when I still hunt I wear pack boots. When I tried the size large, they were too tight to slip my boots into them as the back heel was too big to slide in. I read some reviews and comments which said when wearing big boots go up two sizes. So I bought 2XL. These were way to big/loose. So I bought XL and they fit perfect for my thick Denali hiking boots and my pack boots fit snugly into them (takes a little effort, but once inside they are a good fit). So I recommend going with your normal size if you are wearing regular sized shoes/hiking boots. If you have insulated hiking boots or pack boots I'd go one size up. If your recommended normal size is borderline to the next size up and you want to fit heavy insulated boots into them, then I guess you'd probably want to go two sizes up. I write this information because I wish it would have been included in the description when I initially bought them so I didn't have to go through the process of getting two wrong sizes and mess with returns. As for quality ... I've not used them yet, but they look like they'll do well - so I'll update after use.

Go a couple sizes up
They do not fit over size 9.5 until uninsulated Crispi boot. Bought a medium, too small. Tried my buddies large, got em to fit but had to shoe horn em on and getting them off was a mother… If assume an xl will fit over a 9.5 better. I ended up making a 1/2” cut into the ankle part and got the mediums to fit on and off relatively easily, still slightly tougher than I was planning. Other than that they seem to be well made and will do the trick, I haven’t used em yet. Bought em for a “up north” hunt in a month. Hope this helps

Don't fit on boot like older model did
Have used Arctic shield boot insulators for over 10 years ( old velcro style ) and they were great, but the seam broke. These new ( zipper style ) ones are too tight around the laces area to allow the boot to be fully inserted and the Ipper closed. Same brand (Arctic Shield), same size (Large), same boots ( Cabelas whitetail tracker 2 size 10 ). For reference, the old velcro style ones would also fit around a size 10 Sorel boot. These do however fit around a sneeker, so I'll keep them in the trunk for emergency over boots. But I will be looking for a different brand to replace the old ones now.

Gives you more time in the cold
I'm an avid hunter, have always had issues with feet freezing. I've tried everything, but the rubber boots I have to wear in my terrain, always get cold after sitting for hours at a time, thereby transferring the cold to my feet and the rest of my body. Picked these up to put on over them when I get to my stand, what a game changer, coldest sit of the year yet, -10c and feet were nice and warm, if you need to, you can add more heat by putting a cpl hand warmer packs in between the boots and the covers. Highly recommend, sure gonna give me more time on the cold days, also very easy to pack in with the clips

Worked as they were designed
Initially bought these for my boyfriend because his feet get cold while he's hunting or ice fishing. My step daughter tried them first as her feet get cold also and she said they worked well for her and kept her feet warm. They also arrived a day earlier than what I was initially told. Will be buying a couple more pairs for the ever-changing seasons of hunting and ice fishing 😊
