Excellent lube, discolors some ammo.
I found this to be an excellent lube however, it does have a rather strong but not unpleasant (industrial?) odor. I did find that, after prolonged exposure in the vicinity of ammo, there is some discoloration in the ammo projectile. I didn't see any issue with the ammo other than the discoloration but, rather than take a chance, I have elected to no longer use this in firearms. After storing the tube in a controlled location for a couple years, the grease in the tube became somewhat hardened and separated from oils in it. Kneading the tube remixed the components. It is still an excellent lube and I will use this in other applications

A little grease for that special piece.
I don’t have anything to compare it to. Been using it about a year now and it does everything you want it to. Great product I do recommend, If it moves lube it, if it rubs grease it. In my application, I’m using it in slide to frame channel.

Maybe the best grease
Saw this in an ad in American Rifleman from 2018. The Sno Grease I'd been using the last 15 years I thought was great, but not compared to tw25. Now if you shoot like 100 rds a year you may not appreciate this stuff. I shoot a lot. 9mm and .223. Just built a new AR and if you know then you know a new AR might be gritty. And mine was no exception. I ran out of sno grease bought this and my new AR is smooth as silk. Used it in a Taurus G3 (hate if you want) on the guide rails and it runs like skates on wet ice.
