M-D Building Aluminum Sheet Mosaic Pattern, Satin Nickel, 12in x 24in

These are great! I used them to create a new look to old light sconces in our bedroom. We tried rice paper but it seemed to gather a lot of dust and wouldn’t stay in place, then I found these and gave it a shot and it works perfectly for our project. These are the great product and is very durable and easy to cut with household scissors and bend where I needed them to. They arrived with no damaged pieces, the thickness was perfect and easy to work with. This is the second time I’ve ordered this and the were perfectly straight and great condition. The value for the screens was so much lower than similar products by better than 50%. If I have another brainstorm to utilize them I will definitely continue to buy from them and they made in America! Great product, quality and value!

I ordered these to cover a wall register and am really pleased. They fit perfectly side by side and add a classier look. The color was just right.

The sheet came sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard, which the delivery service must've let get caught between boxes because there were a few bends in it when it arrived. Since I only needed pieces of it, that was not an issue. What was an issue was the finish. Satin nickel is alright, in general, but this was way too yellow for my project. Nearly a quart of acetone, a lot of gloves, and a few hours of steel-brushing later and I had naked aluminum. Without the finish, I was able to settle on painting it the way I liked. Since the cleanup left the surface looking too natty for pulling off a brushed look, I gave it an opaque DIY powder coat and it came out beautifully, my brother and his wife loved the piece when it was finished. When working with it, keep in mind that the metal is very soft, and it's easier to avoid bending it than to fix an unintended bend. Also, polishing off burrs can be difficult because the medallions are on such narrow strips of aluminum, so a small file and a lot of patience will produce a better result after a cut than a Dremel, even on low.

I purchased to add detailing to my bathroom medicine cabinet and vanity that I painted in an upgrade. It is perfect! Easy to cut which I was concerned about because I am not very handy. Great product and I am getting more. Can't wait for it to arrive!

My order arrived quick and in good shape. I am very happy as the satin nickel finish is so nice and lightly textured. I am sure this will suit my project perfectly, and am looking forward to future purchases with this seller!

redesigned our cold air return vents with this. it looks homemade but still very nice and unique, wish they hadn't have rolled it up though, the box was big enough for it to lay flat. however I did get it flat again

The design lived up to my expectations and will be lovely when the mesh sheet is framed as an earring hanger. My only disappointment is that there was no mention in the description of the fact that the sheet is coated with a thick lacquer-type finish that gives in a yellowish tint and an overall appearance of plastic rather than metal. I would also agree with other buyers who questioned why the sheet wasn't shipped in a slightly longer box so that it could lie flat rather than being rolled under on one end in order to fit. It's not clear whether the slight bends in the mesh can be completely flattened out when framed.

I used this to make an earring organizer, and it turned out perfectly. It was easy to cut into a 12x12 and then I inserted it into a 12x12 shadow box frame (see pictures). It holds all my long earrings, the stud earrings are harder to fit in the little grooves, but they can be held too.
