This salt has such a complex mineral flavor to it. It's hard to really describe the taste and how it differs from regular salt other than to say it's more dynamic and the flavor lasts longer/develops on the tastebuds. It can be used to replace regular salt in any dish. Added bonus is that it's better for you -- less sodium and more essential minerals.

Tasted very salty.
We have been using Selina Naturally Celtic Sea salt for many years. We decided to try the Makai Pure Salt. It tasted much saltier than the Celtic Sea Salt. After sprinkling it on my scrambled eggs, I felt something hard in my mouth. It was a white piece of the Selina Makai Salt. We have put it away in our cupboard to use in an emergency but will stick to the Celtic Sea Salt. The Celtic Sea Salt always dissolves completely.
