Curl & Shine Conditioner Coconut & Hibiscus, for Thick, Curly Hair to Moisturize & Soften, 13 oz

I have been using this conditioner now for a couple years and I can't imagine ever wanting to switch to another brand. The scent of it is so divinely light and feminine, but without being "flowery". I've had so many friends go to hug me and smell it on my hair, and ask "Wow, what is that scent!? It's amazing!" The texture of the conditioner is very thick and overly sufficient even for the thickest, curliest hair. It adds so much moisture and smoothness to the waves in my hair. It also works really well after the shower, if you mix 25% conditioner to 75% water in a sprayer bottle and shake it until it's well blended. I use that spray to add humidity to the curly waves in my hair on days when my hair just wants to poof up and frizz out. And, this diluted conditioner spray calms that right down and leaves my waves looking smooth while still feeling soft. However, like many other buyers, on my last order I received a bottle that didn't have a pump on the top. For a first time buyer, that might be a deal breaker. I mean, if you can't get it out of the bottle easily, then it's inconvenient. However, since I've been using this brand for years, I just took the pump from my last bottle out and used it with the new bottle. Not a big deal for me, because I love the conditioner so much that it not having a pump top included was only a minor annoyance. Maybe there was a bad day at the factory where the pump-top machine wasn't working right. Who knows lol. Hopefully they straighten out the issue, though.

I’ve been really happy with this conditioner. It has a rich, creamy texture and makes my hair feel noticeably softer and easier to manage after washing. What I like most is how well it helps with detangling. My hair feels smoother after using it, and it’s much easier to comb without feeling dry or rough. It also helps reduce frizz and leaves my curls looking more defined and with a healthy shine. The Coconut & Hibiscus scent is another nice touch. It smells pleasant and fresh without being too overpowering. I also appreciate that the formula is free of silicones, sulfates, and parabens. The 24 oz bottle is a good size and should last quite a while, especially since you don’t need a large amount with each use. Overall, this is a great conditioner for thick, curly, or dry hair. It leaves my hair softer, more manageable, and moisturized without making it feel overly heavy. I would definitely buy it again.

I have fine medium thickness hair with 3a curls. My hair loves this conditioner. It leaves my hair really soft and light, so the curls are not weighed down. I just ordered my second bottle. My hair is chin length, and one bottle lasts a long time.

I am only giving it four stars because the bottle is impossible to squeeze and the lid gets clogged, so you have to take the lid off and shake the bottle, slapping it against your palm to get the conditioner out. The smaller bottles of this come in easier to use squeeze bottles. Besides the packaging, this conditioner is FANTASTIC! I have a lot of hair, but the individual strands are very thin and dry. I get an unmanageable, flyaway, poofy lion's mane if I don't do something. MOST conditioners are not strong enough to deal with my hair, including the more expensive ones. This stuff is great! I've tried the Shea Moisture Strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner, and while it works really well, it smells like vinegar, and I don't like it. SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner, however, smells great, and it works just as well, I think. I follow it up with their curl and style milk (which is very thick, so use a small amount), or the curl enhancing smoothie. I rarely put curls in my hair when I use them, except for a slight inward curl of the layers, it's just that they work well to get my hair to stay put once I've done the work of straightening it. I used to have to use a streightening iron every day, which was further damaging my hair. Now I just use this conditioner, blow dry my hair straight, add the curl and style milk or curl enhancing smoothie, blow dry a little more to set it, and it stays smooth, styled, and perfect all day. It took me years to finally find a set of hair care products that actually worked.

Don't use too often as it's high protein. Too much can make hair greasy. But great for a hair protein boost from time to time.

I don't often leave a review. However, this shampoo and conditioner deserves the 5 stars. I have wavy ,curly hair. I have paid eye watering amounts for products that still sit in the cupboard. This product is brilliant. Softens the frizz, but gives body, shine, smells delicious, is affordable, and with the different lids makes it easy to see which one is which when your eyesight isn't great. I can highly recommended them. I have been using the curl enhancing smoothie for ages, and it is also fantastic! Delivered to my door the next day. Brilliant
