Over the last year or so my Husband has gotten into calisthenics, over that time, He had been using really anything he could find for pull-ups such as trees, makeshift pull up bars out of two by fours, fence posts, etc. He had sent me a video of a pull-up/dip bar that he really wanted, naturally it was out of our budget price range because some of these things can be so expensive. Me being the “I wanna buy everything for you” kind of wife, I got on Amazon and started my search! After coming across multiple options that were all very affordable, I went with this one which had the best reviews and the best star ratings. We couldn’t be happier with the product we got! The product came in a box, but everything was packed very nicely. There were no scratches in the paint no dents. We did really enjoy that the nuts bolts and tools all came in one container, everything was separated so we didn’t have to worry about sorting each nut and bolt into a separate pile. Directions were very easy to follow. It took us probably about 30 minutes to set it up and that’s with two people. Also, NO MISSING PARTS OR PIECES! (Something that’s hard to say for a lot of ordered products that need assembly) The great part about this equipment is that it is adjustable so it fits and many different places there’s nowhere really that it won’t fit. You can take it apart to put in the car. You can adjust it to make it higher or lower. You can put it in a closet, you can put it on your deck. You can put it in the garage. There’s really no limit! The adjustability is very very nice. The Equipment is very good quality very sturdy, grip is amazing you don’t have to use chalk! It holds up to 330 pounds, which is really nice because a lot of these other pieces of equipment didn’t hold up to that much, which we are both over 200 pounds at the moment so we needed something that was going to be durable for us. Overall, we would recommend this equipment to anyone looking for a good affordable pull up/dip station!

I wanted to start working out at home, but I found I didn't really have a way to do some form of a pull up on anything. I had those pull up bars in the past that go between door jambs, but they seem to rub the paint and mark the jambs. This was the only piece I was missing to do my full-body workout. All the parts were in good condition in the box, and it was easy to follow the instructions to put together. For the price, this is strong and sturdy enough that I wasn't wishing I spent more on an expensive, beefier unit. This was just the right balance of build quality and price for home use. You are able to do wide grip and narrow pull ups. It also has the dip bar feature. I am also able to turn around and face up to do inverted rows on the dip bar handles. So in essence, this was able to take care of all my back muscles. It also doesn't take up much room. You can also use it as a clothes rack when ironing and doing laundry. I wanted to do the following exercises: 10 Bulgarian Split Squats per leg (1.5-rep style) 15 Decline Push-Ups Chin-Ups (AMRAP) 15 Jackknife sit-ups 15 Alternating Reverse Lunges (each leg) 10 Pike Presses 10 Inverted Rows 30 Mountain Climbers

I had been using a doorway pull-up bar and wanted to upgrade. The price for this was excellent, although I paid less than $30 as I had a gift card (from family, not as an incentive to review). Even though there were no reviews I was feeling a touch adventurous and went ahead with the order. So, here’s what I, now we, know: 1. The instructions were there, but the information is less robust than with other items. Regardless, it went together very well and quickly with only one unused washer (probably my fault). Also, the picture included about how to safely use the pull-up bar was and is a complete mystery as they looked nearly identical. I’ll just say don’t swing, don’t get too far away from the pull-up bar, dead-hang pull-ups are safest for this structure. 2. It has a teeny footprint relative to other towers and cages I’ve owned in my lifetime, yet it feels sturdy when I hang from the pull-up bar or use the dip. [I am 5’8”, ~252#] No creaking, groaning, or adrenaline-releasing swaying. 3. I used socket wrenches to tighten it all down. The nuts are not self-locking, so either periodically check the tightness or replace them. 4. One person can assemble this alone in about twenty minutes, if they are not also battling a cat bent on attacking the pieces at all stages. 5. If you’re taller, or have long limbs/short torso, this may not be a good fit for you. I’m 5’8”, short limbs/long torso, ~250-255#, and have plenty of room on the tower without feeling like there is extra, unused space. 6. The height of the pull-up bar is, mostly, easily adjustable as the vertical components are held in place by four nuts-bolts with large, round handles. I probably won’t be moving it, I’m done getting taller, and the dip handles are a good height for inverted rows. Reference in photo is a 20 oz bottle of soda. I’ll update this review in some number of months.

Perfect for home use! 1) Design & Functions as it claims: effective pull-ups, hanging bar. 2) Build quality very good quality. 3) Sturdiness is good but not great. It can be a little wobbly especially if you're more than ~ 180lbs. 4) Great height adjustment. 5) Easy to assemble and move around.

Sturdy and firm

The pictures on the site make the tower dip station look thicker and bigger than it really is. It's strong enough for the weight it says it can take but the stability isn't all there. With pull ups you need to make sure you are almost right under the bar and don't swing out in the movement. I mounted a furniture strap to the wall that is rated to take 300 lbs and it works just fine without worrying about it tipping. For the price it's a decent buy and will get the job done. Dip bars are stable and it came with everything required to put together.
