A high-quality, good-looking desk used for an unusual task!
Bought this to use as a kind-of subtle roll-around side desk to hold the interview notes for a podcast host as he sits in a chair opposite the guest for our company's video podcast. The host adjusted the height and angle of the desktop to suit his needs and he is quite happy with it. Whenever it appears on camera, it looks quite nice. It came well packaged and was quick and easy to assemble. Once constructed, the desk was sturdy, easy to adjust and the wheel brakes locked securely with a quick release mechanism operated by the toe of a shoe. The quality appears to exceed the price and the dark wood surface is both appealing and tough. This desk has already appeared in 15 episodes of our podcasts and looks set to appear in many more. An excellent purchase. Highly recommended!

best.
i bought this years ago and i’m here to write a review now because i cannot live without this thing. its my perfect nightstand that lets me have my laptop by my bed for nighttime podcasts since i dont have tv in my room. ive also used it as a standing desk for work and painting and it rolls around so nicely. LOVE the little hooks hidden under it to manage cables and they keep wires from being caught on the wheels. also, the wheels lock with a clip if you don’t want it to roll around. to store it, it’s very easy to tilt the plates vertically and push it all the way down to tuck behind a wall or dresser. or when moving it, its extremely easy to take apart into two pieces to transport. so very portable! 10000/10 bedroom staple for me. if mine ever breaks, i will get this exact one again

Good stand but flimsy wheels
Works well as a reading stand with multiple hts. But wheel attachments are flimsy and wheels come off so not a good mobile stand. With a stronger base would excellent.

Solid and good little table. Glad I bought it.
I am typing this review from a laptop that is sitting on this table even as we speak. This is a perfect little work space if you want to keep a large laptop ready to go as a daily driver. The construction is strait forward and only required a brief glance at the placement of the position fittings for the top. That little trick caught me due to installing another version of this product, but all went well without any difficulties. I found that this was a great way to have the machine ready to go without using a ton of floor or desk space. It just roils out of the way into a corner when I'm not needing the machine and returns to the side of the main desk when I need it there. Awesome space saver. It is also light enough to lift with one hand and move to any other room for set up as needed. The side platform where the mouse goes was also the perfect place for a USB powered reading lamp to illuminate the keyboard. The tilt fittings are strong and have cable management hooks on the side facing away from the front. The first thing I did was to run the power cord through it to mitigate a tripping hazard. Though the table was simple, there was a little more attention put to the little things that mean a lot. All in all, this is a well designed and well built little table. Another thing I really like is that you can lock the front and back wheels and pull it right up under the bottom of an office chair if you do it right and it makes a snog little workspace. That's how I have it set up right this minute in the dining room where I assembled it this morning. I'll be moving this to the office tonight and it will be a blessing to have. I can't vouch for the others who got theirs with minor imperfections, but this one is a rock. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

"Right handed" table
The table is really made to fit the "right side" (from the bed occupant's perspective) and is not suited for use on the "left side". In addition, the table itself is not long enough to pass further than the center of a narrow hospital bed (38" wide), so is only partially useful in that regard. The wheels are small and don't roll well on carpet (tho that may add a bit to its mediocre stability). Fitting the small gap between the two sections together evenly is not easy to arrive at, and the material is too hard and likely easier to "chip" out. It might be improved by adding the capacity to install the 'ledge' on either side to accommodate a "left hand" user. The quality of the steel tubing is quite good, and is welded together well, and when correctly assembled the joints are tight.

Suprisingly easy assembly, very sturdy, collapses to 22", and extremely stable while typing.
I'm not always the most mechanically inclined so often worry about whether or not it's going to take me 3hrs to build. This IS NOT the case, the design is sufficient that by following the pictures, you can do the thing. The only thing that bit me was that I tried to insert the arm into the rings missing the fact that the last ring on the mouse rest portion needed to be installed last (because the joint isn't centered or in the middle.) But in the end it took me maybe 45min to put together nice and tight. The next one I could do in 10min. It's early on but the table is super sturdy, I worried that typing would be wobbly but that just isn't the case. If after a few months this changes, I'll gladly come back to update the review. The only "flaws" with it are that the tabletop is laminated MDF, but for the $50 price category are you expecting hickory or walnut? The drawback here of course being that I can imagine the edges being worn smooth after a few years of use. No big deal here. The height is important for me as I wanted to be able to stow it under my workstation desk that includes a sliding tray for music keyboards, so I needed something that would go under 23", and this was one of the few that could accommodate that. It works, and also, the telescoping neck is sufficient (doesn't use a hole mechanism to lock) to get at exactly the right extended height quickly that it can nestle easily in the space above the synths but not touching the top of the desk. (See photo) But I have to stress, for as low a price as we have, the sturdiness of the construction is definitely chef's kiss.

I'd return it if I could
Wish I still had the box to return it. Not level no matter how you adjust it my laptop sits on It slanted and its too short to fit on my bedside not to mention it wont extend past the side to use over the lap type of thing completely defeating the purpose of why I bought it. The instructions were super simple but its not level.

Very versatile laptop table.
Great purchase. Easy to assemble about 30 minutes. Very practical table for laptop use in the living room and bedroom. I purchase this table so I don't have to have anything on my lap while working on my laptop. It's a keeper!

Easy-to-assemble tilting mobile desk
Happy with this purchase as It does what it claims to do, is reasonably priced, looks good, and all the screws, knobs, etc fit perfectly with no struggle - this is a first as usually with cheap furniture, there’s always a battle during assembly. The only thing to add is that some of the corners on the ‘wood’ parts are sharp and can scratch.

Really useful
Works great, looks very good, it is very useful… the only minus would be that it stains very fast.

Sturdy, adjustable to my needs, can use multi-purposely.
More than what I expected. Sturdy. Used it to prepare my slides whilst in bed, listened to a zoom meeting whilst on the sofa with my back properly supported. For its multipurpose use, the price is very reasonable. Mind you I’ve used some other laptop supports for the reasons I’ve mentioned and so far this has met all my needs. Hubby mentioned we can use it as a stand ‘-like a pulpit’.
