Will it run Win 7 pro on a Dell 9300 laptop?

If your Dell 9300 laptop is using an IDE interface for your hard drive, then the answer is yes. I installed it on Dell C610 and then install Windows 7 Home, though Windows 7 is running fine it has some limitations due to the lack of video driver. The installation of this SSD is also tricky, as it thinner than regular IDE laptop drive.

TRIM is supported on this drive according to the manufacturer's website. You will need a third party program to send TRIM commands to the drive on Windows Vista and earlier (I don't have a recommendation for NT-based OSs), including Windows 9x and DOS (use Rudolph R. Loew's trim.exe from the Internet Archive, but it can only do FAT32, not FAT16).
