This expansion comes with 2 mat scrolls for the ground of the game board and then cardboard COVERS thay are designed to slide over the terrain box pieces from the core game. It is a great idea that keeps the cost down for consumers and saves storage space. A great expansion if you are smart enough to know that the cardboard terrain fits over your existing boxes.

The Tiny Epic games are all amazing and use quality components. BUT this expansion is made cheap. The 'terrain' all comes folded made from cheap thin cardboard. When you open the boxes , aka terrain, they do not remain open properly squared , the sides sag. All in all im a disappointed.
