Gave these 5 stars because they do exactly what they should. They are very easy to use and to put on your crust. The slits are spaced well so it’s easy to get a good fit with the resizable crust shields. Cleaning was a breeze. I’d imagine you could put these in your dishwasher but I just dunked them in soapy water, ran a washcloth the length of the strip and rinsed and they were clean. Very easy. One thing I’ll mention, I haven’t worked with many silicone oven items so for whatever reason I didn’t think silicone got hot in the oven- well it does so if you are also not “silicone savvy” then make sure you use a hotpad or oven mit when you remove the shields. Other than that (which is me not the product) they’re really great!

I am so glad I bought these ahead of the holidays this year. In the past years I used aluminum foil to cover the edges of the pie, which is a pain in the rear to say the least. Gluten free crusts tend to burn a lot easier so covering the crust is a must. These are easy to use, stay in place and result in beautiful pies. They are very hot when they first come out of the even, obviously, so be careful when removing them. I just used an oven mitt. They come off easily after cooking and didn't ruin the face of the pie. Easy to wash as well.

Great idea if you put it on before putting pie in the oven. Many recipes call for adding a crust guard partway through baking and this will not work unless you have amazing dexterity. To adjust for the right size, you slip notches together. It's just too detailed of work to be able to do without burning yourself after the pie plate is hot. But it does work well and is so flexible to fit your pie plate size, as long as the pie plate is cool. Have not used it enough to speak to how long it will last. But does work to prevent burning of my pie crust.

These crust shields are great. They are easy to use and being able to adjust them to smaller than 9" pie pans is wonderful. They did not slip off the crust as the pie baked nor did they stick to the filling that bubbles out of the top on occasion. Wonderful product!

They are adjustable and easy to use and clean! Protects the edge of your pie and adjust for various sizes and a good fit. Just be sure to secure with the little tab to keep in place.

Way more soft than I expected. Was hoping for something a little more rigid Tobe placed on the pie crust when it's baking too much (which is pretty much the entire point) will take way more time to finagle them kn the pie than the standard old tin ones

This is a wonderful product that should be in every baker's kitchen. It keeps the crust perfect and prevents over browning on the edges. A must have!

I really like these pie crust covers, they go one so easy because of the cuts in the rubber, it make it bend nicely. I have always had trouble using wadded up foil or the tin pie edge covers that fall off when you touch them and half the time they stick to the pie, these lift off clean and easy.

You really need to make these tight when putting on because as it gets warm, it sort of stretches and falls off which will burn your pie crust

It was a pleasure to use. I was thrilled to not have tofuss with foil. Worked perfectly. Washed up easily. Just threw it in the dish washer. The only thing I could say to improve it is to somehow be able tofasten it to the size pie you are using. Over all I liked it very much
