It is all natural food grade and certified Kosher. There is nothing about natural salt to call it organic.

Is the Sherpa Pink salt Gluten-free?

So, I went to the company's website to answer this question or to email them for an answer, because despite the nasty responses on here, it is a legitimate question. And even though I, thankfully, do not have Celiac Disease, I am gluten intolerant and avoid it at all costs, as do people that are actually allergic to it. (not all people that ask about gluten are on a "fad" diet, and going gluten free, in and of its self will NOT give you diabetes any more than eating wheat-based products will Where do you people come up with this stuff?) Yes, we all know that salt is a gluten free product naturally, but as it has been pointed out, there is a risk of cross-contamination if any gluten free product is processed in the same facility as other products that do contain gluten. This is what I found "Our 100% natural Sherpa Pink® Himalayan Salt is Kosher Certified, Non-GMO, and does not contain any MSG, Soy, Gluten, Dairy, anti-caking agents, artificial colors, or additives." does this salt has iodine?

Although sea salt does contain iodine, it generally provides less iodine than table salt, according to the American Heart Association. This is because many, but not all, varieties of regular table salt are iodized -- meaning extra iodine is added during processing. However, if you prefer the crunchy texture and strong flavor of sea salt but want the extra iodine found in iodized table salt, look for varieties of iodized sea salt. Though it can be difficult to determine the exact amount of iodine in sea salt because it isn't included on nutrition facts labels, many iodized salts contain about 71 micrograms in each 1/4-teaspoon portion, according to the Office of Dietary Supplements. Got that from a simple google search. It does not "has" added iodine but it has naturally occurring iodine in it.
