Please read this before you use this to fix your couches. I definitely wanted to write a review because I think this product is worth a try. I had bought some used vinyl couches and after about six months a lot of the vinyl on the seat cushions was peeling up. I had tried to use couch covers, and ended up having to cover my couches with blankets.I saw an infomercial and thought I would see what Amazon had.That small voice in your head that says I can do this by myself because I’m a mom or I’m a woman or because I want this done for my party tomorrow. Yes, it can happen but I highly recommend that you listen to the other voice in your head that says ask someone for help. It is definitely easier with two people and I recommend measuring twice, just like my dad always told me.I recommend measuring and cutting all of your pieces at the same time- if your seat cushions are all the same size. This is where I went wrong and ended up having to redo it because I couldn’t handle the off seams. My cushions are 22 x 22, I would give yourself 2 inches on every side to give enough leeway to wrap far in between my cushions. Also because of the size of my cushions I had to piece them together creating a seam. While you can see it , it is much better than all the rips and tears that I had previously. I would also recommend getting a vinyl glue and gluing down around the edges I’m hoping that this will help it from peeling up. Make sure you get it in a clear color. Time will tell how they hold up but even if I get another six months to a year I definitely think it is worth it. I ended up buying three rolls to repair 4 cushions and I have enough spare if I need to do patch work.The only bad thing about is when you get to the very end of the roll it is very much creased. When I use it on one of the couch cushions you could see all the ripples from it being towards the end of the roll. I would recommend saving that for small patchwork later. For $45 I was able to save my couch or at least give it a little longer life.

Was very hard to put on decided to put on whole arm of chair. My husband leather chair the arm was worn thru so decided to put the leather repair patch on whole arm. Had to tear first sheet off so really wrecked arm of chair then but applied small area at a time and worker Ed from back to front but it’s in couple weeks and holding good. Just take time and tear only small backing at a time and apply slowly.

Quality is much better than I expected. Color even precisely matched the faux leather chair I was repairing.Obviously, unless you have a very fortunate set of circumstances, you're probably not going to repair whatever it is with 100% invisiblity, but that being said, it's not the first thing anyone notices about the chair I used it on-- benefit of going with black, I think-- much easier to match.Chair has been getting used daily for a couple months now and the adhesive shows *zero* problems so far. Even the very edges are staying down-- which, given that the tape is on a piece that has a lot of padding so gets smooshed and deformed just from normal use, is pretty impressive.So, is it as good as new? Not really but, at $30 for some repair tape versus $300 for a new chair-- I am more than happy with this stuff. This is very much worth getting and this stuff is duly noted down as an effective tool for future projects. Don't know when or where I or someone I know might need this stuff but I have no doubts that it will happen at some point and I will definitely not hesitate to SMS/DM/Email a link and/or head here when that day comes.

This product seems fine, but the patch is flat leather with matte finish. My sofa has a pebbled leather appearance so it didn't match. Guess I didn't pay close enough attention to the pictures, but the product seems solid enough.I re-ordered the correct item and it is a huge improvement!

My office chair with faux leather would rub off on my legs and ruin my white pants. Once I got this products I cut three strips and covered the whole seat on the chair. My office buddies all want to fix their chairs also.Thank you for being a life saver!

Works good but not enough strong

I used it in on the armrest in my car. Adhesive is not strong enough to hold in place so I used glue to make it stick

I guess if you have to apply the patch on a perfectly smooth, hard surface, it might work. Not for soft leather chairs or couches.

The leather itself is quite thin. So it is easy to shape around corners, however it's not great for covering significant defects. You can still see some defect through the patch. I used this on the armrest in my car door and I'm satisfied enough with the way it looks. This product might be well Suited for not just patching but protection as well

El producto es una muy buena solución para reparar muebles y otros artículos. Desafortunadamente no viene con instrucciones para evitar que las reparaciones salgan con arrugas o dobleces mal hechos. Un video o link a YouTube podría ayudar mucho.

bought an older used leather sofa and love seat which had stress tears on the sides and backs of the cushions. although this product was not an exact colour match, its not on display and looks so much better than seeing little flashes of white from the cushion next to the one you're sitting on

We used this to fix the puffy arms of our leather armchair. It did a great job of covering up tears in the arms where the stuffing was coming out, but there’s just too much movement on the arms and it couldn’t hold up. Within about two or three weeks it’s already not sticking.
