Evenflo Pivot Xplore All-Terrain Stroller Wagon (Wayfarer Black)

This thing blew me away- I had my eye on other, more expensive wagons for a while before I came across this. I liked the style and the price was much more affordable, so I went for it. I'm so glad I did. This thing is just excellently designed. After a few minutes of initial assembly, it's easy to set up or collapse again. Folded up, it takes up much less space than our old tandem-stroller used to. If anything, it's comparable to a single stroller when stored in our car. It doesn't require a lot of weird adjustments or tweaking, it just folds out into a comfortable two-seater wagon. The included sun shades fold up and down easily and never need to be removed or fussed with. The seat belts are simple and the little snack tray across the middle is brilliant for keeping a little boundary between fussy kiddos. The detachable storage basket is also great, as it gives you a little bit of shopping space if needed or can be flipped into the wagon itself if you're only hauling one kid. Another little perk is the unique look- the color and shape of this wagon is distinct enough that you can spot yours in a crowd without trouble. That can be a lifesaver when you need it. The place where it really shines is how insanely smooth the ride is. The wheels absolutely glide on any surface and is easy to push or pull (although be sure to put your biggest kid in the back so they don't throw off your steering!) I initially worried that the nearly frictionless wheels would make it prone to rolling off unattended, but the designers clearly thought of that and implemented the best stroller brakes I've used. They're light and easy to click on or off without having to smash your toes (I've permanently dented some shoes trying to lock/unlock the brakes on other strollers), and when locked the stroller doesn't budge at all. This was a great purchase. It freed up a huge amount of space in our car compared to the double-stroller we had used before, it's easier than ever to get the kids in or out of it, and they actively love it- our oldest keeps asking for wagon rides everywhere since we got it. All this for almost $200 LESS than my original choice. I can't praise it enough.

If you search for other wagons similar to this, there are many with a much higher price tag. Given that this is about 50% leas than some of the most popular wagons, I did not expect to be as impressed as I am. The quality of the product is great. Specifically, the wheels are awesome. It’s a smooth ride for the kids and the maneuverability is awesome fantastic. I saw a question asked about whether you can jog with this wagon - while it may not be interned for jogging, the quality allows you to do so. Note that this wagon is pretty heave and not aerodynamic at all, so it’s more challenging than using a jogging stroller. Also - I suggest putting the heavier child closer to you in the wagon or it is significantly more difficult. Set up was easy - I did it unassisted in less than 15 minutes with both toddlers insisting to help. What are the draw backs? The canopies don’t provide full coverage. They do allow for significant movement, so you can block direct sun, but depending on the weather and time of day, your riders may still be exposed to the sun. Second draw back is the ease of folding and unlatching the handle. I have some weakness in my thumbs, so I find this to be slightly challenging. I can do it independent, but maybe not as easily as others. For this reason, I wouldn’t say it’s the best if you are looking for an extremely easy solution. Like if you are wrangling 4 kids, this isn’t going to just pop right open. If you can sustain setting a child down or using both hands, it’s not a big deal. Overall - I think the value for the price is outstanding. I didn’t expect a Rolls Royce because I didn’t pay for one, but I think the quality of the product exceeds expectations for the price point.

This stroller is nothing short of phenomenal. It’s like the Jeep of strollers, first of all: on our first outing, we took it over seriously bumpy brick pavement and it handled all the bumps and potholes and curbs with ease (a miracle after our last stroller). The thing practically has 4WD. Secondly, I’m real petite at 5’1” and my husband is rather tall, at 6’. The handle adjusts even more than a traditional stroller to accommodate my super low preferred handle height AND his much taller one! Thirdly, it’s just easy to use! Super easy to assemble, fits through relatively narrow doorways, and popping the kiddo in and out is a cinch since it’s pretty low to the ground. Did I mention it corners like a dream? The turning radius is *chef’s kiss*. But wait, there’s more: it has about a zillion cup holders AND a basket that can be reversed to the inside of the stroller if you have only one rider - fabulous seating for stuffed animals, which isn’t its intended use, but is a great perk for the stuffie-obsessed toddler set. And MOST importantly, our toddler *loves* this thing. Like.... jumping up and down excited to go on super long stroller rides, which is not the norm. Visibility is great and she can see everything, the snack tray is convenient and just the right size, and she loves having the shades up so she feels like she’s in a fort while out and about. She’s taken to having snacks and meals in there just because it’s fun! I don’t have two kids, so I can’t speak to its function with two - but in my opinion it’s a great alternative to some of the bigger and bulkier double strollers out there that corner like refrigerators or are a mile long. When we have another kid, we’ll absolutely get the car seat adapter and wha-bam. Double stroller. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about it - it exceeded our expectations, and it was money well spent! One of our best purchases to date; second only to our Mamaroo, and if you have one, you know how serious I am about how great this stroller is.

Got this in lieu of a double stroller. I have an almost 8 month old and a 2.5 year old. Both fit in it great. Easy to push. Brake is easy to push but works great. The double tray is great so my 2 year old can have his drink and snacks but my baby can have toys that she can still reach. There’s plenty of foot room for both of them. The shades are great and also help block some of the wind as it’s super windy where we live right now. The basket is an added bonus so I can keep my things near me as well and my kids won’t mess with them. I’m 5’4” and like the handle fully extended in the push position, I don’t have the problem of kicking the basket when I walk that I saw mentioned in other reviews. i haven’t been “off roading” really with this but it handles the bumps and hills and curb hopping we have to do very well. Really really love this and so do my kids, especially my baby. She loves that she can see out to all angles and she just watches everything that’s going on. Bought it on Black Friday when it was on sale, definitely worth it.

This wagon has worked perfectly for my kids - I have 3 under 5 years old, we started using it when I had a 2.5year old and a 6month old. From the time your child can sit independently through age 6 i'd say its a great comfortable space for two kiddos. It maneuvers easily, folds easily, is a manageable weight for lifting in and out of the car, and the accessories are sturdy and wash easily. As a tall girl I also love that it doesn't have a bar across that my feet would knock into. It washes easily with a quick hose off and some dawn in the backyard, and it has quickdry fabric making it dry overnight. I would recommend this to any out and about mom with littles! I much prefer this over a double stroller. I do want to note some difficulties, just in case these are deal breakers for your wagon needs. The canopy is pretty terrible. It doesn't connect from one side to the other so it offers limited protection from rain or bugs. It is also not designed to "lock in" so any amount of jostling will knock it out of place. I had to stop using it as my one year old would pull it out of position constantly. Aside from the canopy the only other downside would be that the stroller doesn't have a way to clear crumbs from the bottom as they tend to build up when kids have snacks on the go. Your only option is to flip it upside down and hose it down. We love the Pivot Xplore been using it fore three years and will remain my go to dog walking stroller for a few more!

My little one is not so little. Approximately 3' tall at one year means that they outgrew their first carseat rather quickly, and the stroller soon followed. That isn't to say we didn't cram in there and go for walks around town, but it was a less than comfortable experience. This stroller is a canoe. A skiff. A Buick. This stroller was engineered with my child in mind. And, if you note the analogy, is what is commonly called a "boat". It is seriously large, and requires a bit of manoeuvering when tight spaces are present. It can handle terrain incredibly well for having no shocks, and rides well across grass, gravel, and (to a lesser extent) sand. It folds well--you just have to get used to how it feels when folding/unfolding. It has enough room for two children, and my child sits quite comfortable in the seat and safety belt. Even our dog likes riding in the other seat when he gets 'tired' at the park. Materials are easy to clean. My concern about this stroller is that it is low to the ground for how big it is. Example: at the grocery store, the stroller takes up the footprint of a cart, but is less than half the height. This has led to several near collisions from other shoppers. Extra care is needed when other folks are pushing large objects around. Counterpoint: the stroller doubles as my cart. Overall, this is an excellent tool. I get questions from other parents about what it is and where I got it. And, most importantly, my little one loves it.

Nice looking sporty stroller wagon! I got it on lightning sale for $239.99 plus tax, which was a steal! I haven't taken it outside yet, but tried it in the house and the push is smooth and easy to maneuver. I originally got the Graco duoglider tandem double stroller but it felt more difficult to turn and maneuver once my toddler was in the front seat. I took pictures of them side by side and they are similar in height due to the Xplore handle bar not being adjustable. However, the Xplore feels less bulky than the duoglider overall. The Xplore is wider than the duoglider by maybe an inch due to the back wheels, but it doesn't seem that much of a difference. I will say that the duoglider felt heavier to me with more bars for it to collapse and the Xplore was just a touch lighter to me. The Xplore is similar depth when collapsed, but can actually fold flatter if you turn the front wheels inward, but then it wouldn't stand upright anymore. The wheels seem easy enough to remove if you're limited in space. Duoglider wheels are difficult to remove. The wheels on the Xplore are much better quality than the plastic like material of the duoglider. I got this for our 2 yo and my 2 month old for our flight later this month and plan to gate check it on Southwest. I didn't buy the infant seat holder right now, but I propped up my Chicco Keyfit 30 in it in the front and in the back of the stroller and it feels comprable to when you put your car seat in the shopping cart on the tail end but actually a bit more secure on the Xplore han the shopping cart. I wouldn't go over bumps with the infant car seat propped like this but feels secure enough for us to take through the airport. My 2 yo fits comfortably and actually loves sitting in it to watch TV right now too. I will plan to update this review after our trip to see how it goes. **Update 7 months later. Worked great through the airport! Gate checked without an issue on Southwest. Had someone ask us about the wagon at the airport and was interested in it for their kids as well. The setup with my infant in the Chicco Key fit 30 car seat worked well for our trip. I did baby wear my infant on and off the plane and gate check to the car seat after our initial flight. The wheels worked well when we went to the park and pushed easily over mulch and gravel. It's easier to pull this in sand rather than push it but it was manageable for short distances. I just had my husband hold the car seat while I pulled from the front since we didn't secure it anyway. Of note, the sun covers do not secure very well and my toddler was able to pull it off very easily. Did not stay on during gate check as well, which was a hassle. We just ended up pulling them off and not using it. You will need to either rent a van or SUV to be able to get the Xplore in the trunk plus luggage as it does take up a good amount of trunk space. Overall, we have been pleased with this purchase and it has been very handy for our now two and a half and 8-month-old.

Needed a pet stroller that could handle a 40lb aging dog. This thing is perfect bc it accommodates a corgi lying down. The front crumples down to allow a corgi to hop in and out on her own. Wheels are nice and smooth and pivots at 360 with one hand. Lock really does prevent it from rolling down a hill. She's not quite ready to only use a stroller but couldn't resist this in prime day deal and we might as well get her used to it now and have it on hand in case of an injury. The little canopies are also very cute and reverse color. Hidden pockets accommodate phone and keys and poop bags but i would recommend adding the optional drink holder to be able to reach phone without having to reach down and inside. I'm obviously not using the human foot area so I filled it with a shoe box and put a medium size dog bed for comfort to test this out. Also not using the human snack tray but it did snap in nicely so probably good if you have children who need like a table area. Video is of our first walk around local park with it. As you can see ride is smooth enough she didn't complain. The odd stopping in video is my pushing my other corgi to stop crossing behind me tangling his leash with my legs. Will probably put hard hobby foam and a lighter blanket for regular use to keep weight down. Weight was a little heavy on the incline in stroller mode. Did not test in wagon mode. Will test it with two sitting corgis and see I I can handle pushing 80lbs but for my strength that would probably be too much weight to push up an incline so if you are a small woman keep that in mind if you need to fit two children into this. Overall excellent birthday gift for my aging corgi girl. She is happy with her gift. Update used this to walk about 8-10 Mike's a day carriage roads of Acadia National Park (Jordan Pond, Eagle /bubble, and the bridges trail). Wheels held up perfectly and as long as the include was gradual it wad OK to push uphill. Carriage was able to handle both corgis squeezed in when my boy also wanted a break from walking but I would say the max is likely 1 dog about 60lbs to be comfortable. I still find it hard to fold on my own and lift it up into my trunk area without it ubfolding but this shouldn't be a problem for taller people or someone with longer arms. I recently tested it on a sandy trail and it can travel over sand but i wouldn't recommend this to replace a true sand wagon with sand wheels. Did 10 mile bike trail pushing 2 40lb corgis and it held up well. Recommend!

I like it because - I have a 2 year old and this is absolutely perfect for her. She can stretch out and lay down if she is tired. I can bring a backpack or a cooler for picnic lunches or beach days. It has loads of storage and drink trays. Very easy to fold down for storage and it is smooth and easy to travel over grass and gravel. What I dont like - the drink/snack tray makes it tight for her to move around. No drink cup for my drink. Clips for the handle are not as easy to unfasten in order to turn it into wagon mode. And it is heavy! Picking it up to put in the back of my car is a work out!

One of the best purchases if you have twins who are 1 year or older. It makes daily outings, park visits, and short trips much easier. There is plenty of space for both kids and it’s much more convenient than handling two separate strollers. The only drawback is that kids can’t really sleep in it while traveling since it doesn’t recline like a regular stroller. But for daily use, walks, and quick errands, it works perfectly and is totally worth buying for parents of twins.

Roomy for a 3 year old. Our diaper bag size was suitably sized to fill up the footrest for the kids to be able to lie flat when we head out so no additional ‘tools’ to covert it from sit to lie down stroller. It still maneuvers well on different terrain even when we sit our 2 older girls inside (gets tight so do remove the food tray). Just visited USJ with this. At the gantry the staff tried to stop us from pushing this in but eventually allowed after verifying there was seatbelt and brakes and we can only use it in stroller mode (so don’t take no for an answer ◡̈)

Excelente carriola todo terreno Si es mas grande de una carriola normal y algo pesada para subir escalones altos, pero muy buena,excelente material, Manual bien explicado, llega desarmada pero es facil de armar. Yo compre el asiento adicional y queda perfecto. Lo unico que no me agrada mucho es q el canopi no es completo con cierre como su versión pivot explore dremz, pero se puede arreglar. EVENFLO EXCELENTE MARCA
