High quality
I bought these wafers to try tempering chocolate for the first time while making chocolate covered strawberries. I was really impressed with the quality. The chocolate had a great fresh flavor that tasted much better than most store bought baking chocolate. I also liked the consistently sized wafer shape since it made portioning and melting convenient. Overall this felt like very high quality chocolate, Itโs worth the money. I will definitely buy it again.

Sticky and Sad mess
For $20, I expected to enjoy actual high-quality chocolate, not a shapeless, sticky mess that looked like it had been through a heatwave. Upon opening the package, I found it completely melted. The texture was ruined, the flavor off, and the presentation nonexistent. The state it arrived in felt almost predictable, as if no one involved thought it would survive the journey intact. I regret every penny spent. My photo shows the chocolate I was able to salvage and refreeze myself.

They are kind of like fancy Hershey Kisses
Every year, my Dad used to send us a huge box of Wilbur Buds for Christmas. They are kind of like fancy Hershey Kisses. After my wife got diagnosed with Celiac's, she had to avoid the Wilbur Buds (due to gluten) and was sad. Guittard's are gluten free and delicious, and the baking wafers look enough like the Buds that she can be part of the tradition again. I surprised her with these a few years ago and she loved them. They're now part of every Christmas.
