Update 6/21/22 :I have been using this shower head and filter for just over a year now and what I can say is it still does a good job of delivering water pressure but I'm not sure how well it actually softens the water seeing as how over the past year my hair has become increasingly damaged from hard water and I noticed hard water buildup on the actual showerhead itself. I'm still fairly pleased with the shower head I would just say maybe it's not a water softener as much as it is a filter.I have very hard water and horrible water pressure in my current rental. I've also noticed over the past 3 years that I've been here that my hair is changing texture. I finally realized it may be the hard water so thought I'd look into it. I've only showered twice so far with this but based on the water pressure alone it was completely worth it. This is the THIRD showerhead I've bought since moving in and the previous two(non-filtering), while they were better (pressure-wise) than what came with the place, are completely left in the dust by this showerhead. It's like a waterfall coming down on me and I actually like my shower now. As for the water you can definitely tell it's softer. It feels soft but not slimy like some showers I've taken with really soft water. I'm hoping this will help with my hair texture, it does feel better but only time will tell. If I notice a huge difference I will update my post. I think it's a real bargain for the price as it comes with an extra filter. Putting it up was easy peasy.

I took a shower in my friend's guest bathroom and it was hands down the BEST water softness and pressure I've EVER felt. I immediately asked her about it and she told me it was this product. After ordering it and installing it in my guest bathroom, all my house guests would rather line up and wait to take a shower in my half-decorated guest bathroom with this shower head instead of in my beautiful renovated main bathroom! (The only reason I am not able to install this in the main bedroom is because it's a handheld shower head. So sad! I wish they would make one that works for the handheld shower heads too!)It was extremely easy to install to my surprise! There was a slight leakage in the filter part, but that seemed to have resolved itself over some time (although they do also provide some plumber's tape that would have resolved that as well...)

Great quality, I can tell a difference in my skin and hair if I don’t use it. It sort of leaks if you don’t properly install it but it’s easy to fix.

I only gave 4 stars for now as I have only used this once after installing it last night. I will come back and update after using it longer. This was very easy to install and the water pressure was amazing! Way better than the last one I was using. The large rainfall head is perfect, it feels so nice. I will see how well the filtering works, my water is very bad with a lot of iron. So one day isnt enough time to tell.

I really love this shower head, my skin looks and felt softer. I enjoy taking a shower daily. After we installed the shower, it leak from the sides, but after adjusting it properly I never had s problem with the shower head and it's attachment.

We live in a suburb of a mid-sized city and we have city water. We have lived in this house for 35 years. I have fine, straight hair and had noticed a few weeks ago that my hair was getting incredibly tangled in the shower. My conditioner seemed like it had completely stopped working. I had even switched to a different conditioner but there was no improvement. I had to painfully drag a wide tooth comb through my hair after washing it and was just getting tired of it. Finally, it occurred to me that it might be our water.We have always had hard water and I have struggled against orangey-pink scale and staining in our showers and sinks for years. But for some reason, this summer the water seems even harder. So I ordered this filtered shower head to test my theory.Our son installed it last night and took my first shower with it this morning. My hair is so much better and a comb went right through it afterwards. I think we may need to order filters more often if our water quality doesn’t improve, but just relieved to find an inexpensive solution.

Bought this for my sister for her apartment and it's works amazing! It has Great pressure and it looks beautiful and it's a really good size. Definitely recommend buying.

I ordered this two years ago and loved it so I bought a new one. THEY SENT ME A USED PRODUCT!! The box has multiple dents and water stains...and the shower head is discolored. The shower head looks older than the one I bought 3yrs ago. Disgusting!

I purchased this filter to remove the iron and sulphuric smell from our well water. It exceeded my expectations! The water is very soft and leaves my hair extra shiny. The shower head has a wonderful full spray.

Fit perfectly and the shower spray is gentle but strong enough to sooth.The best part is the peace of mind in doing what can be done to reduce the toxins they add.Every bit helps.

Easy to install and definitely makes a difference in helping to get all those extra minerals from the well water out of my hair and off my body. The only down side is that the water pressure is not as strong as it was previously.

A very expensive cheap shower head. The filter doesn't change the hardness of the water even a bit. I am very disappointed.
