Permanent Marker, Ultra Fine Tip, Assorted, 12/Set SAN37172

I have always respected Sharpie for its quality, but you have to know the product to get what you want. I had used other ultra fine markers from Sharpie before, and though I didn’t need so many colors, I decided to splurge. I’m so glad I did. The colors are bright and perky and actually inspiring. The ink comes out thin and precise. So you can write within small spaces, or on a label. Not as thin as a ball point pen, but think ball point pen BOLD. So you can be that delicate. And the price (I paid $8.29) wasn't bad. I'm really happy with my purchase.

I make board games and I use the markers for the dice and cards that go with the games. The colors are awesome (there is a great variety of them) and, of course, they are great quality. My only complaint is that the yellow can be hard to see on the cards. They are also great for all kinds of arts and crafts.

I bought these sharpies back in January 12, 2012. It is now 5/19/2016 and I am still using these sharpies. They have held up admirably, and still pump out ink just as well as they did the first day I bought them. One thing to note is that they do make ink bleed, and for lighter colors, they will absorb this ink temporarily. Yellow, here's looking at you. I use these on a daily basis for work, writing color coded notes to help me stay organized as I get through my paperwork. The colors do not bleed out much - they really are ultra fine points (similar to a ball point pen, I would say), so long as you do not press down on the paper in one particular spot and hold it there - all the ink will drain out onto that one area and bleed through onto your other papers or the desk. Just keep that in mind. Four years of regular use, that's a pretty good run for these sharpies.

Great value. I love the sharpie fine points. And it's nice having a selection of colors. These are fantastic! I like a fine point marker for making lists. I also use these for pricing items for our vintage booth. I have to write a detailed description and the price on a small tag. So the fine point sharpie is perfect for the job. I also like using the colors for markdowns. That makes it easier for a customer to spot a price reduction. I've had this packet for several months. All of the pens still have ink and the color is very strong. I will continue to order these!

I purchased three packs of these to accompany adult coloring books I gave as gifts. All three packs worked great! Each pack was used for several hours, with the vast majority of colors tried at least once. All worked, and were very vibrant. The tips are small enough to effectively color the intricate designs in the coloring book, and they made the pictures look a lot better than color pencils. While the tips were small, they bled enough so that it wasn't hard to color larger spaces too. (No gaps between strokes that you have a hard time filling.)

These are nearly perfect markers for doing any extra-detailed work. I love to color in adult-level coloring books with fine detail, and the tips on these markers could have been made expressly for that purpose. The flow of ink is always even, without any globs or dry spots, or any other similar problems that sometimes happen with markers. The tips are hard enough, however, that after extensive use, I've never had any of them develop the "fuzz" that one sometimes sees in lesser quality markers. My only complaint is that certain ink colors may not perfectly match the lid shades, as some are slightly darker, but I get around that problem by testing them on a separate sheet (and letting them dry) before using them. But, these colors are all extremely vibrant and rich. I'm not sure where you could possibly find a better quality fine-tipped marker, and especially not at these very reasonable prices.

I love these. They are super helpful for colorful outlining, etc. Caution: they DO bleed through most paper just like regular size Sharpies do. Don't be fooled by that fine tip. Other than that - these are my favorite markers, ever.

Once I received these sharpies today, I opened the pack to test the color to see if it would work for a project I was going to work on. The yellow, orange, green, sky blue and black did not work at all. The other colors did work, but the red started to fade.

I bought these pens for guests at my wedding to use to sign the guestbook, and they were pretty much ideal. I didn't experience any of the drying out that another reviewer has spoken of, despite some pens being left without lids on at the end of the evening, and now I use them for marking fabric when I'm sewing (which isn't good practice, and I wouldn't recommend it to other sewists!) The high quality is typical of Sharpie products and the price was great. Perfect really!
