Absolutely incredible service. Ordered pm on one day and arrived before noon the next day. Importantly left in exactly the place I had specified on the order form. I was also kept abreast of the delivery update by constants emails. It makes a beautiful gift with wonderful package; i love the sturdy box, with no dented corners, tissue paper and a great note. It is stylish and smart and would work for either men or women. It has the feel and sense of a luxury item but at an affordable price. Absolutely love it and will be buying more. And the best part is that the quality of paper is such that it passes the writing test ie. you can write in a fountain pen and the ink does not show. So, very good quality paper and super smooth to write on. If there is a downside it is the colour of the leather. This is highly personal but I am not keen on brown leather. And actually, don't have any brown shoes, or handbags etc so it is definitely a personal foible. Looking forward to the exact same product but in colours. I will be buying more as gifts.

A fabulous journal which I purchased as a present. Comes in a presentation box making it a lovely gift. The recipient was very pleased with it, it is very good quality and has a very useful back page pocket.

This is second one of these journals I've had and I like them a lot. The item is beautifully packaged and very well made, I write in it using a variety of ink pens and the heavy weight paper is really good because even the wet inks do not soak through. Will get another one when I have filled this on.

My usually go to notebook for the last five years has been Leuchterm 1917 but at the price, I thought I’d give one of these a go. The heavy paper is a plus for me and is on par with a Leuchterm, however the quality of the book isn’t quite there, there were a few trails of glue here and there and the binding isn’t quite as crisp and tight, I also miss the cover and contents pages. Although some may find the ‘Theatre’ of receiving a book in a cellophane wrapped box with embossed lettering and a tissue cover over the notebook, I find it rather pointless and if anything wasteful. It does undermine the idea of vegan/sustainable leather being used for the cover when the book comes with so much additional packaging that goes straight to the recycling bin. The notebook itself is good to write on, no bleed at all and nice smooth pages. Again, it’s a personal preference but I prefer a narrow rules notebook for my spider like scribbling. I can’t hold that against them though... Overall, it’s an excellent notebook - Perhaps 4 stars at the price is harsh but I’m really comparing it to what I consider the 5 star rating of a Leuchterm. I’ll buy these again for recipe books and garden notes but for journals I’ll be back to Leuchterm, the saving on price isn’t enough to sway me but for those on a budget it’s an excellent choice.

Great quality journal!

I bought these as a gift for a vegan friend and when I got it I was tempted to keep it to myself. I did manage to muster some pateince and bought another one for myself. The unboxing experience is fanastic and the feel/ weight of the book is exquisite. For the price this still delivers excellent value; it outperforms other notebooks that are more expensive. I've tried them all, and this sits well in the middle. I would recommend for a couple quid less the Lemone brand, and for a coupla more the Dingbats. The hardcover is soft touch and firm, the paper is thick and crisp. I would say the paper is some of the best I have ever tried, even better than the Dingbats, I experienced no bleeding whatsoever even with a thick fountain pen. However, small minus point on the binding, had some excess glue on a few pages. This was only on one bind on one of the notebooks, so a minor point that doesn't take away from the whole experience of the book. Still 5 stars for me, thoroughly recommend.

Sono rimasto veramente soddisfatto dell’acquisto di questo taccuino Beechmore Books. È perfetto sia per l’uso quotidiano che per un regalo elegante e utile. La copertura in pelle vegana è molto morbida al tatto e conferisce un aspetto lussuoso, senza essere pesante o rigida. Il colore marrone è elegante e raffinato. La carta color avorio da 120g/m² è spessa e resistente, ottima per scrivere senza preoccuparsi che l'inchiostro trapassi. Anche con penne a inchiostro liquido, la scrittura è uniforme e senza sbavature. Le righe sono ben distanziate, comode per scrivere in modo ordinato e preciso. La dimensione, formato A5, è ideale, non troppo grande e non troppo piccola, perfetta per portarlo in borsa o in uno zaino. Viene presentato in una confezione elegante, quindi è perfetto come regalo per appassionati di scrittura o persone che amano organizzarsi con taccuini di qualità. In sintesi, questo taccuino è un prodotto eccellente sotto ogni punto di vista: design elegante, qualità della carta impeccabile e perfetto per chi cerca un taccuino di livello superiore. Ottimo anche come regalo! Consigliato al 100%!

Très joli papier, j'écris aux feutres (faber castell) et ça ne transperce pas, le papier est très beau. En réalité, je m'étais trompée en commandant cet article (je cherchais un carnet pointillés et non pas lignes et je n'ai pas fait attention) mais ce genre de carnet vous donne envie d'écrire dedans. Le seul point négatif que je pourrais donner vient de l'emballage : une très jolie boîte emballée dans du papier emballé dans le carton amazon (je crois qu'il y avait également un emballage plastique dans l'histoire mais je me trompe peut-être), est-ce vraiment nécessaire ? Je ne sais même pas quoi faire de la boîte. Le carnet en lui-même est super et je ne regrette pas mon erreur (une prochaine fois pour les pointillés).
