A study of life of the indigenous on the borders.
The author takes the reader on a journey of the northern and southern borders of the U.S. through the experiences of the indigenous peoples. Well documented, the book reveals their similarities and differences, both among the indigenous and in relation to the largely white and non-native neighbors. It is an invitation to really "see" one another.
