Crush washer not included
My unit didn't include a crush washer as mentioned by other reviewers. Not a big deal but now I have to order washers. So don't depend on one being included. Filter is perfect and from Japan.

Proper Made in Japan Filter for 2026 Mazda CX50 (2.5L Naturally Aspirated)
Took a chance because item description says one thing, but some reviews said another. I received a Tokyo Roki Co, made in Japan oil filter (PE01 14 302B). Exactly what I was looking for. I have looked up OEM filters on dealer websites and they say it won't fit my car. I have been on CX50 forums and have been confused by people stating various things. Did my first oil change on my brand new 2026 and it was the exact same filter. It fits, it works. I ordered 10 more. There is a Made in Taiwan version that pops up with an MV code (Mazda Value). I don't want that one. This is the one. Car is 2.5L naturally aspirated. I read somewhere that turbo models use a different one and have a higher flow oil pump. Don't know if it's true and don't care because I don't one.

Proper filter for 2024 CX-5
Slippery lil guy. If you are a DIY person, make sure you have a proper oil filter wrench. The factory torqued the hell out of the original.

Works well.
Been using these for years and they hold up well and have had no issues: except one. For some reason the last one I bought would not fit into my filter wrench. It screwed on fine and does not leak but I had to buy an adjustable wrench to put it on.

OEM is best.
I got the 302B filter which is made in Japan, not the 302A which is made in Thailand but either one is a well made quality filter. I was using the Wix 57002 which doesn't have the anti drain back valve and the Purolator Boss which does have the valve and decided I was just going to go with a Mazda OEM filter since they don't require an anti drain back valve for Mazda engines. I'm not worried about 10,000 miles, 15,000 miles, or 20,000 miles oil filters since I do oil changes every 5,000 miles even with full synthetic oil. The owners manual does imply the OEM filter can go 10,000 miles but only under ideal driving conditions. Most driving is considered severe conditions so for me 5,000 miles oil changes is ideal. Oil and filter changes are cheap, engines are not!

No doy cinco estrellas el filtro es diferente al número original trae una etiqueta pegada en la caja haciendo creer que es el número que se publica.quitando la etiqueta el numero de pieza es diferente al que se publica. Compare el filtro usado con el nuevo y son diferentes que mala suerte ya mejor lo compre en la agencia y el costo es casi el mismo.

It's the original!
You cannot go wrong with the original part. It also has the plug gasket, don't forget to replace it and tighten the plug to the spec's torque.
