CRL Chrome 5/8" Wide Beveled Mirror Clips - Set

My heavy 48”x30” bevel edged mirror came with cheap plastic clips with skimpy drywall inserts, The CLR clips also came with small drywall inserts. Because the CRL system hides the screws behind the mirror, I was able to use heavy duty screw type inserts with the CRL clips. CRL clips have a two piece top clip and a one piece bottom. Ingenious.

Very nice clips for the purpose. Seemed wider than claimed measurements in terms of the depth of the clip (i.e., how thick does the mirror need to be). Installed easily (yes, you need such tools as a level, screwdriver, and knowledge of how to install screws in drywall). The angling of the bevel is also a bit tricky, because not all mirrors have the same bevel angle.Would be nice if it includes some sort of bumper and/or rubber/vinyl insert to handle both the thickness issue and the inevitable rattling of the mirror in metal brackets (which will happen even if the fit is almost perfect). I fashioned by own, but company could easily include a few strips of pre-cut clear vinyl/rubber to insert and greatly improve the product.

These arrived quickly. They are sturdy and easy to install. And they look very nice. A win all the way around!

In the picture with the measurements, it says they are 5/8" wide on the inside. They aren't. They are 5/8" on the outside. So they wouldn't work what I bought them for. I needed them to be at least a half inch inside measurement and I thought the two with the screws were adjustable but they aren't. So these were totally worthless for what I bought them for.

This was exactly what I was looking for to hang a new beveled mirror in my bathroom. It is a very sleek and clean. However, the design of this clip will not work with a 1/4" beveled mirror because it was not taken into consideration that the edge of the bevel is not 1/4", which is the dimension of the clip. In my case, the mirror is 1/4" thick and the edge of the bevel is 1/8", which means the clip does not hold the mirror securely. You must build up the back of the clip to take up the excess space on the clip. I used peel and stick vinyl bumpers.
