The only annoyance was having part of the country on one side and the rest on the other, but the cities, landforms and road names are more readable when larger, so it's a trade-off. Other travelers in my group purchased maps and we almost all liked this one best. It also feels nice and cleans up well. Review: Best Guatemala Travel Map - I've traveled in Guatemala for the past 45 years. This is BY far the best road map. I've seen them all, but this is up to date and has a ton of detail and is on a water-resistant paper.

A great map!
We just returned from a driving trip through Mexico, Belize and Guatemala. Our GPS did not work well in Guatemala so this map was invaluable! We traveled all parts of Guatemala for two weeks and found the map to be very accurate. It is treated with something that made it water resistant and very sturdy as well.

Great Map
Awesome map, comes just like it does in the description. Beware; not all of Guatemala is on one side of the map. One side has the northern part and one side has the southern part. Maybe that's in the description and I just didn't see, but I thought I got totally jipped the first time I looked at it.

Its a map- usefull but not detailed enough
It does what a map is supposed to do. It is fairly sturdy and is usefull enough to get you where you need to go, as long as its on a macro scale. Best to have a gps like product with you to know where you are, the roads there can be tricky. For general use though this will be great, don't leave without it.

A must have!
This was a great product, and definitely gave me reference to where I was going specially, when you are going in a foreign land, you have the upper hand to make a plan and know where things are so it’s just another tool for great travel.

I guess the age of folding maps is over...
This is a good map of its type. I'm 65, so I used to use folding maps like this because I had to. Anybody born after 1980 will think it's as useful as TV with 4 channels. It's just so much less detail than you can get with apps, some of which allow you to download maps for off line access. I needed to navigate to small villages. They're just not there, even some places that qualify as towns. Maybe good to spread out on the table for 2+ people trying to get a general orientation. And maybe a good wall decoration. I wish I had my money back, not because it's defective, but because it's outmoded.

Big country; covers two whole sides
We made a trip and used the map to follow along with our organized tour itinerary; its a big country and consists of two very different parts; the Peten jungle and the western highlands, each covering a side of the map. These maps are made very durable, and fold very well. Recommend.
