This is definitely 5 star so far! I Was definitely over having to replace regular disposable lighters, Bics & generic 1s. I tried a pretty clipper-type lighter but found it inconvenient to refill with butane & brand of butane I wanted was sold out regularly(didn’t get to use long enough to have to replace flint).(another slight inconvenience & thing to buy). Finally Saw this & thought it was great & it is! Meant to buy a while back, just saved for later, lol!Pros:1 full charge lasts 3-4 days with heavy use, fast charging! Does Everything a traditional lighter does! But Hands down better at reaching down into the last bit of candle wick lol!Never burned myself, has safety button. great extendable ignition.*pretty purple electric arc when ignited. Looks little more blue when lighter about to die, I notice.When charged lights greatCons; but not really lol- doesn’t light well when about to die(obviously)Slight whining sound when ignited (not loud) -I’ve heard that electric lighters can make loud whining- Not this.Get this lighter,for $10 u can’t be mad at it, it pays for itself when u think of all the disposables u dispose of lol. If you are sitting and very good aimer, it can work out. But placing this close to the end of a joint, it will eventually turn the end black and push the little hooks that arch back in. Out of 2, they both are useless and soon to be thrown away. One didn't last more than 2 months. I tried pulling them out manually, but they push themselves in when they press against the end of a joint.

It's small, lightweight, and portable. Requires no flammable liquids, and is able to function in windy conditions. The electric arc sometimes doesn't complete, so you have to restart the light; which is no different than a lighter not igniting with the first stroke. The neck pulls out making it a bit safer to use and it has an "on/off" switch too. The switch can be confusing as the words display the opposite of the lighter's current state (e.g. "off" displays when you can still use the lighter). It comes with a recharging USB cable, that I wish was a tad longer, but functions. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and seems like this will a nice tool to use in the camping days ahead.

have to hold it to candle wicks or cigarettes for longer than a typical flame lighter to get them to light. It's novel and I love the extender arm - great for candles - just takes a little longer

I hate using small lighters to start a campfire or use with my jetboil because I always burn my fingertips. This device gives just enough space to light something but keep your fingers out of the fire!

The media could not be loaded.  First off I would like to say, if it wasn't defective I'd actually really like this product. I'd probably even give it 5 stars. It's portable, would've been pocketable and I actually started a campfire with it. The problem is the safety switch didnt work on mine, so I have to leave it in the original casing if I put it in my pocket or in my backpack because the hazard is very real. It also defeats tge portability factor of the device. Otherwise excellent product, probably would've recommended it otherwise.

Its much smaller than I thought. I bought 2 other electric lighters and their plasma arc is much stronger. It does feel good in the hand. The safety switch is helpful. Its a mediocre product overall.

Works very well! Held a charge for like around 10 days. Used it a few times a day lighting candles and things. Holds nicely in hand. Would get it again
