This is the best espresso available and I love that I can get it for my Nespresso machine. Yes it’s pricey but significantly cheaper than going to a coffee shop and just so delicious. I am thrilled that I can get it from Amazon so it’s even more convenient. I have never gotten a bad/crushed capsule and I’ve used at least 1000 so far (2 per day, at least 5 days a week, 3+ years)

2026 UPDATE I have bought these direct from illy for over a year now. with their subscription, they actually cost less than amazon, and I've never once had a crushed pod. I highly recommend going through illy instead! UPDATE JUN 11 2024 I figured I'd give these one more try but I don't know why I bothered. The condition of my most recent order was even worse and while I love this coffee, I'm not ordering these through Amazon again. The box was torn open this time and crushed, and again I had crushed and unusable pods. The only way to get a refund is by making a request through Customer Service. It's not worth the effort, wasted money, and wasted time. These pods are so good that I kept giving the benefit of the doubt, but save yourself the hassle and wasted money and just buy them elsewhere if you can. I've only ever received two orders thst weren't damaged, don't make the mistake I made and keep trying. I'm over it lol. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I generally try not to review an item based on the shipment packaging or condition of the package when it arrives. I understand that with Amazon it's not really the vendor's fault. However, when it's such a consistent issue with a product that relies on keeping it's structure to work properly, I think it's important for other customers to be prepared. I order these somewhat regularly and lately I will consistently get at least two crushed pods per order. I'm not sure if this is an issue with how they're picked or how they're handled during delivery, but at this point it's become frustrating. These need to hold their shape to work in a nespresso machine, and they're nearly useless when they're crushed like this. Returning them would be a hassle when you order these specifically to arrive when you're about to run out. I know it's a small inconvenience, but I think the least I can expect is for my pods to arrive intact. I have to say that I really love the quality and convenience of the pods themselves. The coffee is amazing and for many reasons I don't buy coffee at chain coffee shops anymore, so these have been great. I almost exclusively use illy's pods now, and I've tried many other brands and roasts/ flavors. People in the office loved these pods and they didn't last long when we had them in stock. If you have them available to you anywhere else, I recommend buying them from some other source unless you're prepared to play crush roulette with Amazon.

Excellent taste and value

You can't go wrong with Illy Classic Roast. It always takes me back to those quiet moments waiting in European airports.
