Shackle and ring worked as designed in a recovery test for my 2019 ZR2 Colorado with a 9.5 RS ComeUp winch. Much easier to use than an ARB hard shackle and "D" ring.

The machining on the ring is good, no rough edges. The powder-coat however is not uniformly smooth on the inner contact surface. The soft shackle they provide has enough sheathing protection to probably make it a non-issue, but if using it with an unsheathed soft shackle I'd expect the shackle rope fibers to be damaged some on a hard pull, at least until the rough powder coat got smoothed down on the inside of the donut. If Factor55 rates their product at 22k pounds, I'm extremely skeptical this one would hold up to anything near 41k. No certification paper work was included with the product. Still good value for the money.

Well made product and works as intended.

I'm really impressed with both the ring and shackle. I used it today while installing a new winch on my Jeep when it was time to spool the line. This cut the distance I needed to back down the driveway in half which was nice and gave me a good incline to set the line correctly. I'll be buying another one or maybe even two to upgrade the snatch block I have in my truck that also has a winch. This was much better than the old style. I really like how it doesn't need grease and will not really be effected by dirt and sand.

No instructions for attaching this to medium size dogs. Might come in useful during next season's Iditarod

I use this pulley and soft shackle to pull my SxS out of deep snow, also to assist in cutting trail trees. We put a strap on the tree and run the winch through the pulley to make the tree fall away from us.

Didn’t see anything on Amazon saying only to use this item with synthetic winch lines (I suppose it makes sense since its made of aluminum). Also, I guess the soft shackle (part of the bundle) is shipped separately as it was not delivered together....wasnt planning on upgrading to synthetic, so may return it.

I am not impressed. I open up my delivery and I get sent a damaged product. Gouged right in the middle of the donut where the rope will be sliding on. It's one thing to get a damaged product its another to get a damaged product that someone obviously took the time to paint match and try to hide the damage.
